14th April: Samsmarana Deep At Mumbai

Divine Spark Borivili conducted Samsmarana Deepa spiritual programon 14th April, from 5  7 pm, at the residence of Mr Somnath karkera, at Goregaon, East Mumbai. Mr.Dinesh Shetty, Mrs.Pushpalata Uchil and Mr.Vishwanath Tonse were the resourse persons for the program. The program began with mass reciting of Sri Ramaraksha Stotra and Bhajans. Spiritual topics  - how God guides and guards us, how our daily physical activities are controlled and conducted by God, etc were thoroughly explained in the program. More than 35 people were benefited from the program.

11th April: Shishu Sandeepa Children Program And Trip To Hanumagiri

Divine Spark, Sullya and Kanakamajalu grama sameethi arranged for Shishu sandeepa - unique children program and one day trip to Panchamuki anjaneya temple, hanumagiri, Eshwaramangala on 11th April 2013. More than 20 children took part and thoroughly enjoyed the program.

31st March: Samsara Deepa At Chennai

Samsara Deepa, a unique spiritual program to inculcate divine qualities in a family was conducted at residence of Mrs Renuka, T.nagar, Chennai on Sunday March 31st from 5pm to 7pm. During the program, group discussion on forgiveness was very appreciated by all the members. 33 members attended the satsang.

24th March: Seva Sahakara Program At Chennai

As part of Seva sahakara program, On March 24th, Divine Spark, Chennai visited "Vishranthi Home For The Aged". Lunch was sposored by the Divine Spark. Ggroup Rama Raksha stotra was chanted and its meaning and benefits were explained in simple words for the bliss in life. About 70 seniors participated in this small program found it really beneficial and blessed our group for such services.

24th March: Satsanga At Hanuman Temple, Vasco Da Gama

Divine Spark Panaji arranged a Satsanga in Kannada in Hanuman Temple, Mangoor hill at Vasco Da Gama. Program was attended by 30 members. Programme started with Shree Ramaraksha Stotra. Bhajans of many Dieties were sung during the program.Bhajan. Shri.Ramesh Madiwal gave Spiritual discourse to the gathering about Sadhana - spriitual practice.

23rd March: Book Exhibition At Kalpakkam

As part of Viveka Deepa program, a book stall was arranged at Anupuram township, Kalpakkam.  On the eve of Annual Entertainment Carnival,the book exhibition was set up inside Bhavini Stall by B.Obuli.  Basavaraj and Ashok kumar explained the objectives of Divine park to the visitors. Divine Park publications in all languages were displayed to disseminate the lofty ideals. Almost all the Tamil books were sold out. The book exhibition as set up from 23rd to 30th March. Apart from Book sale, people also showed immense enthusiasm to get subscription of Viveka Sampada, Viveka Veena and Viveka Kirana - Divine Park's magazine.

17th March: Sanmati Day Celebration At Panaji

Sanmati Day was celebrated on 17th March by Divine Spark, Panaji. As part of the celebration, the devotees visited the hostel of  St.Aloysis High School, Diwadi, Goa and distributed Food grains, Oil, Daal and biscuits to the inmates of the hostel. Shri A.M.Pujari and Shri Shridhar Hebbar were present during the occasion. The program was started by chanting Shree Ramaraksha Stotra and students were explained regarding the benefits of the Stotra, in improving concentration and promoting overall development. 

16th March: Vidyarthi Deepa Student Program Conducted At Borivali

Vidyarthi Deepa - a unique student-oriented program was conducted at Borivali. 65 students from 5th, 6th and 7th standard were benefited from the program. The program was organized by Smt.Jalajakshi Kumble Vasai, Sodawala Muncipal School, Borivali.  Mr Dinesh Shetty was the resource person. The program focused on  innovative ways to improve concentration in studies. During the 2 hour program, students actively participated and interacted with enthusiasm. They also thoroughly enjoyed moral stories of Ramayan and tips on how to obey teachers, parents and elders.

10th March: Shivaratri Program At Chennai

On Auspicious day of Shivratri, members of Divine Spark Chennai organized group chanting of Panchakshari Mantra - 1000 times in the evening at Rajani Rajan Residence, T.nagar, Chennai. 56 people actively took part in the program

10th March: Special Shivaratri Program At Chennai

On auspicious day of Shivaratri, on Sunday, March 10th, a group chanting of Panchakshari Mantra for 1000 times was organized at Shanti Kuttappa residence from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, at Perumbakkam, Chennai. 21 People actively took part in the program.
 

24th February: Sri Rama Kripa Deepa At Maruthi Nagar, Bangalore

Sri Rama Kripa Deepa was conducted at Maruthi Nagar of HAL region of Bangalore. Mr Giridhar was the resource person for the program. He taught the participants about how to recite Sri Rama Raksha Storam, its significance in establishing affection and harmony in the society.

17th February: Special Satsang and Vidyarthi Deepa At Belgaum

A special satsang and Vidharthi Deep program was conducted by Vivek Jagarat Balag, Belgaum on 17/02/2013 at the residence of Shri.D.K.Kulkarni. Mrs.Anita Bellad conducted the program and gave guidance to the students regarding the best way to study and achieve success in exams. Mrs.Mohini Khande gave practical tips to the students regarding best way to study with concentration. Ms.Dhanashri Kulkarni gave a power point presentation and explained in English for the benefits of the students of English medium, the points covered by Kannada orators. Shri.N.K.Munavalli, explained the various forthcoming events at Divine Park and requested all the devotees to actively participate in them.

17th February: Special Satsang At Srinagar, Bangalore

Special Sathsang was conducted by Sripathi Somayaji at Srinagar Bangalore South Balaga Office on 1th February, Mr Somayaji talked regarding how Divine Park activities are revolutionizing the concept of Bhatki - Devotion. 50 people actively participated in the event.

16th February: Vidyarthi Deepa At Kagadasapura, Bangalore

HAL Sub division of Divine Spark of South Bangalore conducted Vidyarthi Deepa - a unique student orientation program at Saraswathi Vidyamandir Higher Primary School. Kagadasapura. 30 children actively participated in the program. Through the program, students were given useful tips to imporve concentration, will power and technique of setting and achieving goal with the help of self confidence. During the program, importance of Nation building activities was also stressed.

16th February: Special Program For Pregnant Women Conducted At Raichur

Vatsalya Shree - A Special program for pregnant women was conducted by Divine Spark, Raichur on 16th February, at Shree Panchamukhi Anjaneya Kalyanamantapa, Maddi Pet Raichur. 31 pregnant women were benefited from the program, inlcuding seven muslims. Resource Persons : Dr.Anitha, Shimoga , Dr.Nanditha Raichur , Smt.Mahalingamma Cdpo Raichur , Smt.Vijayabai Raichur , Smt.Shashikala E Kambli, Smt.Saraswathi Patil President Divinespark Raichur, Sri.G.Papaiah, Sri.Srinivasa Bave. 30 Parents and volunteers of Divine SPark Raichur were also present on the occasion.

9th February: Sanchara Deepa conducted by Divine Spark,Borivili

Divine Spark,Borivli organized a Sanchara Deepa program at Mr.Gurudas Kotian's residence to condole  the passing of his  mother Mrs.Padmavathi Kotian on 1st Feb 2013 . The program began with recitation of Sri RamaRaksha Stotra and Bhajans. Later  Mr.Dinesh Shetty & Mrs.Pushpalata Uchil explained   the cycle of Life , Advantages of Satkarma  done during lifetime, How Kukarma gets  accumulated during life time and its effect after death. 

Also the resource persons explained   the cycle of birth and rebirth and  What kind of prayers should be conducted  during 13 days at the deceased  house, what is  Moksha /salvation and how to achieve .Over 23 people attend the program .

10th February: Sugama Sadhana Deepa In HAL, Kannada Kendriya Sangha

Sugama Sadhana Deepa - a training program about simple spiritual daily practice was held on 10th of February, in HAL Kannada Kendriya Sangha, Bangalore. Through the program, technique of surrendering oneself to the Omnipotent God and finding happiness by worshipping Him even in the midst of the endless trials and tribulations, was taught. 25 people actively participated in the program.

3rd February 2013: First Zonal meet of Mid Zone I held at Bhadravathi

The First Zonal meet of  Mid Zone I was held at Govt Ladies College ,Bhadravathi on 3rd February 2013. The Meet ,presided by Sri.C V Prabhakar ,Zonal Zeal officer, Divine Park. 20 officers of Divine park including D2 ,M2 and C2 participated in the meet.

1st February: Vidyarthi Deepa - Student Welfare Program At Solapur

Vidyarthi Deepa - Divine Park's student welfare program was conducted at Siddheshwar High School, Solapur. 86 students were benefited from the program. Huge positive response was collected from the Principal and students. Special emphasis was given on imbibing discipline and improving self confidence. Mr Prabhalar Bellad was the resource person. Divine Spark, Solapur volunteers - Viveka Naikwadi, Vidya .Naikwadi, Ramesh.kondugule, Savitra.kondugule were present in the program.

29th January: Samudra Pooje Programme Conducted At Malpe

Divine Spark Udupi(W) performed ‘Samudra Pooja’ at Malpe on 29/1/2013 at 6:30 pm . As per the directions received from Sri Guruji, the devotees offered tender coconut, fruits, flowers, milk etc. to the ocean with the prayer to enrich them with divine qualities. They prayed together for the betterment of the entire world, chanted ‘Ishta Mantra’ and Ramaraksha sthotra. The active volunteers of Udupi (W) Sri Monappa Kunder and Ganesh Puthran coordinated the entire programme. About 50 voluanteers, some of them from Mumbai, participated in the proogramme.

26th January: Fruits Distribution Program At Basavanagar, Bangaluru

As part of Republic Day celebrations, fruits distribution program was conducted by Bangalore South HAL Upasamithi at Bharatiya Grameena Mahila Sangha, Basavanagar (BGMS). BGMS works towards welfare, upliftment and empowerment of women, children, the aged and physically challanged. In Basavanagar it accomodates around 1150 children and 30 women.

26th January: Special Program For Students Conducted in Bangalore

On 26th Jan 2013 on account of Republic day a student program was organissed at R R School, Vidyaranyapura Bangalore North. Emphasis was given on improving the concentration and time management skills of the students. The program organized by Shri S V Karanth and Govindaraju. Mr. Purushotham Somiyaji was the resource person.

26th January: Samsara Deepa organized  by Divine Spark, Borivili

Divine Spark Borivili organized  Samsara Deepa on 26th January 2013 at Sri Suresh Shetty’s residence n Goregaon East,Mumbai.The program started with recitation of Sri Rama Raksha Stotra followed by an introduction to Divine Park by Sri Vishwanath Thonse. Smt.Vatsala Ail from Divine Spark Vasai explained the meaning of Happiness, key aspects of a Happy family, role of various factors such as Money and individuals such as Husband and wife in making a family happy.  The whole program was very interactive and interesting responses by participants was proof of their involvement.

Sri Dinesh Shetty explained about the relevance of Samsara Deepa .The program was concluded with Arati and distribution of Prasadam.

25th January: Sri Guruji Jayanti At Saraswasti Sadan, Hubli

Sri Guruji Jayanti was celebrated on 25/1/13 At Saraswati Sadan, Hubli. Shri K.G Bhatt was the main speaker. He threw light on Vivekanandatwa. Mr Mahesh Vakwadi from Kundapur Spoke about Shri Guruji's inspiring thoughts and secrets of success in building a good Divine Spark. 180 members attended the function.

25th January 2013: Special Camp for married couple by Divine Spark, Davanagere

Dampatigala Shibira- a One day workshop for married couple was organized by Divine Spark Davanagere on 25th January 2013 at Guru Shantashrama,MCCB Block,Davanagere. Smt. Padmalatha , Smt. Sudha and Sri. Dr.N.S.Bhapat elaborated various facets of the married life such as compassion to each other, inculcating the 5 Divine Qualities in everyday life, incorporating Sri Guruji’s messages in daily routine and few Sadhanas to be practiced to lead a happy and peaceful life. The workshop was attended by over 80 people.

23rd January 2013: Satsanga organized by Divine Spark Solapur

A Satsanga was organized by Divine Spark,Solapur on 23rd January 2013 to commemorate 150th Birth Anniversary of Shri Guruji Swami Vivekananda at Jagive Jagruti Santha Atma Magna Training School. Over 30 devotees who attended the Satsanga got very good information about the role of spirituality in our daily life and Shri Guruj’s tips to lead a happy and meaningful life.

20th January: Satsang organized in HAL region, Bangalore

HAL Upasamthi of Divine Park organized a Satsang on 20th January, 2013. In the program, Shri Geethaprasad emphasised the importance of Janasamparka (getting in touch with people and speaking about motto of Divine Park), Janamana Santwana (Explaining people about how to achieve solace by spiritual means) and Jeevashivaseva (Serving the Divinity in all human beings). He also emphasized on popularizing of Madhuvarsha as a part of sadhana would help reap more God's grace. Nearly 25 have participated in the Satsanga.

20th January: Youth Day celebrated by Divine Spark Chennai

Divine Sparks Chennai celebrated Youth Day, the birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on 20th January 2013 at Karnataka Sangha School, T.Nagar. The program started with recitation of Sri RamaRaksha Stotra and Bhajans.  Guest speaker  Smt.Malathi Simha,Psychologist spoke about the different stages of parenting.  Emphasizing on Emotional, Social and Value quotient of the child, she mentioned that parents play a major role in shaping their child’s future.  Her message about the four pillars of a strong relation- Communication, commitment, Trust and tolerance was well accepted by over 65 attendees.

Another Guest speaker Retd.Colonel Radhakrishnan spoke about the importance of discipline in a child’s life. Cultural activities such as speech on Swami Vivekananda, Patriotic songs and classical dances were performed by the kids.

19th January: A Special Program For Students Conducted in Bangalore

A special program was conducted for students of Shri Meera Vidyaniketan School, Vidyaranyapura, Bangalore on 19th January. During the program, emphasis was given to improve the concentration and confidence of students.  The program was organized by Shri S V Karanth and Govindaraju. It was conducted by Mr. Dwarakanath.

15th January: A Special Satsang at Divine Spark, Byadgi

A special Satsang was organized in the house of Smt.Basavannevva H Banakar, President DS,Byadgi on 15th January,2013. Sri Murigeppa Shetter and Smt.Bharati.S.Kulakarni were felicitated with the Vivekaveeras Prizes & momentos awarded by Divine Park for their valuable services during 2012.

Shivakumar.B.Hattikal,H.G.Bangera,Smt.B.H.Banakar, Smt.Shobha,Smt.Shakuntala and SmtParamma Cheluvadi were present in the Satsang.

14th January: Inauguration of New Udupi Divine Spark Office In Malpe

Divine Spark Udupi(w) opened one more ‘karyalaya’ in Kartik Sahaj building, Main Road, Malpe, Udupi, In order to carry out the activities more extensively. Its inaugural function was held on the auspicious occasion of Makara Sankramana, on 14.01.2013 as per the directions of Sri Guruji. Sri K. G. Karisidhappa and Sri Sripathi Somayaji, the trustees of Divine Park were the chief guests. Sri K. G. Karisidhappa inaugurated the programme by lightening the lamp. The President of Divine Spark Udupi(w) Sri Sathish Bangera, Former President Sri Vijaya Thingalaya, Zonal Head Sri K.Prakash Kumar Shetty and Sri Hariyappa Kotian, the businessman of Malpe were also present on this occasion. Sri Jagadish Kunder coordinated the programme. About 150 people were present. The programme was concluded with ‘mangalarathi’ by Sri Sripathi Somayaji.

14th January:Jagrati Day celebration by Divine Sparks Vasai

On the auspicious occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of Shri Guruji Swami Vivekananda, Divine Sparks Vasai celebrated Jagratu Day on 14th Jan 2013. The program begun with an audio introduction of Divine Park and a video of inaguration of Krupa Kunja. Nearly 50 devotees had the privilege of listening to Poojya Doctorji and Poojya Swamiji's words delivered during the inaguration. The enthralled devotees then celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Shri guruji Swami Vivekananda by cutting a cake, reciting Astotthara namavali and took the Oath which was prescribed by Shri Guruji for Jagruti Day.

13th January: Sankata Deepa organized by Divine Spark Mumbai

Divine Sparks,Mumbai conducted Sankata Deepa program for the benefit of students apprearing for the Board Exam. Smt Bharathi Ail and Smt Jayalaxmi Shriyan explained the details of Sadhana to be  carriedout by Students and Parents for  a period of 33 days to overcome the fear of exams and to face it boldy and bravely with confidence. Apart from the sadhana, the students were also given various tips as directed by Shri Guruji to overcome the hurdles of student life and exams in particular. 16 students and 10 parents attended the program conducted at Smt.veda Shetty's residence.

13th January: Special Satsang And Speech Competition Organized By Divine Spark, Belgaum

A special satsanga was organised by Divine Spark, Belgaum to commemorate 150th birth anniversary Sri Guruji - Swami Vivekananda on 13/1/2013. As part of the program, Speech competition was also organized on the topic of "Life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda" for students. 19 students participated in the competition. Some students also painted the protrait of Swamiji on the occasion. More than 60 devotees participated in the special Satsanga.

12th January: 150th Birth Anniversary Celebration of Sri Guruji - Swami Vivekananda in Gangavati

To commemorate 150th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guruji - Swami Vivekananda, a special program for mentally challenged was conducted at Lion's club, Gangavati. President of Divine Spark, Gangavati, Smt. Lata S Malipatil and Vice president, Veeru Hiremath were resource persons for the program. 80 students attended it, which started with lighting lamp, followed by Bhajans. The Divine Park Mission and importance of Sri Rama Raksha Stothra were explained to the gathering. Bread, milk, books and pens were distributed among the students.

12th January: 150th Birth Anniversary Celebration of Sri Guruji - Swami Vivekananda in Byadgi

B.E.O, S.S.P.N. Composite PU College and Komu Sauhardha Vedike of Byadgi jointly organized a special programme on 12th January to celebrate birth anniversary of Sri Guruji. at the PU college premises. Murigeppa Shetter spoke about the continuing importance of Guruji’s Vedanta unto today’s life. Shivakumar Hattikal of Divine Spark, Byadgi delivered speech on “LIFE & TEACHINGS OF SWAMY VIVEKANANDA”.

Zilla Panchayat president Shankranna Matanavar, Muncipal President Smt Parvatevva Koppad, vice president Babusab Sidenur, KJP Taluka President Murigeppa Shetter, Kannada Sahitya Parishad President Malatesh Aralimatti, BEO Prasanna Kumar, KSVedike President Hakeem and SSPN Principal L.V.Mayer, Vice-principal M.K.Hosamani were present on the occasion as chief guests. SSPN President Chandranna Shetter presided over the function. 

12th January: 150th birth anniversary of swami Vivekananda & 10th anniversary of Divine Spark Thane.

On the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and 10th Anniversary of Divine Spark,Thane, a program was organized help the needy people from different walks of life such as Widows, Differently -abled students, economically weaker students . 5 beneficiaries were identified in each category and were donated Rs.1000 each. Also Shri D.G.Bolar was honored for his whole –hearted sacrifice ( Tyaga) by providing Office space to Divine Spark free of cost. Smt. Malini Karkera, Shri Devdas Temkar, Shri Dinkar Uchil and Smt. Kumari Manjunath spoke on this occasion. Over 200 people attended the program and were moved by the JeevaShiva Seva of Divine Spark,Thane

12th January: Sri Guruji's Birthday Celebrated by Divine Spark & Veera Yuva Shakti Koota, Chickmagalur

On the occassion of Shir Guruji Swami Vivekananda's 150th Birth Anniversary, Nagara Sankeertana  was organized by Divine Spark and Veera Yuva Shakti Koota,Chickmagalur on 12th January 2013.  An idol of Shri Guruji and portraits of Paramaguruji and Shri Sharada matha were placed on a decorated Ratha borrowed from Ranebennur. The procession which started from Bolarameshwara Temple at 5:30 pm ended at Kote Anjaneya temple  passing through IG road,Hanumanthappa circle and MG road covering a distance of 4 kilometers.

The whole route of procession reverbrated with chanting  of Mantras and Bhajans by over 80 Viveka Manis  who were leading the Ratha and the "Jai"karas by over 40 Viveka Veeras  following the Ratha with banners displaying the electric words of Shri Guruji Swami Vivekananda.

Throughout the procession, public exhibited their respect to  Shri Guruji by performing Arati.  This Nagara Sankeertana was concluded with Mangala Arati and distribution of Prasada to over 300 devottes gathered at Kote Anjaneya Temple.  Divine Sparks and Veera yuva Shakti Koota,Chikmagalur succeeded in organizing this program  with the blessings of Shri Guruji and Poojya Doctorji.

9th January: Satsanga organised by Divine Spark Madgao

A Satsanga was organised by Divine Sparks ,Madgao at Datta Mandir on 9th Jan 2013 between 6pm-8pm. The program was conducted in both Kannada and Hindi . Smt.Vijayalakshmi G Prasad and Sri Geethaprasad introduced Divine Park and its objectives. They also spoke about importance of festivals in our spiritual journey and its role in our inner refinement. As an example, the spriritual aspects of celebrating Maha Shivarathir , as revealed by Shri Guruji in his Divya Sandesha Sudhe was quoted . Nearly 25 people took back the spiritual spark within them through this satsanga.

6th January: Shishu Sandeepa program conducted by Divine Spark Vasai

Shishu Sandeepa program was conducted by Divine Spark, Vasai at Mogaveera Santhapaka Mandali on 6th of January. Divine Park resource persons Smt. Shambhavi Bengre and Smt. Bharathi G. Ail tried to inculcate the moral and spiritual values in the children by their talks. They then involved the children in many interactive games which helps in improving the concentration. Later the children were led to recite various sanskrit shlokas. The program was arranged and coordinated by Smt. Shambhavi Bengre & Smt. Jayalakshmi Shriyan.

1st January : Satsanga conducted by Divine Spark Hunsur

Divine Spark Hunsur conducted a satsanga at Divine Spark Branch office in Hunsur on 1st of Jan 2013. The program introduced Divine Park and its mission to the audience along with briefing on ‘Madhuvarsha’ concept. Madhuvarsha is an activity introduced by Divine Park wherein an individual or a family pledges to donate some amount of money on daily basis to a ‘Hundi’. The act of this service is to inculcate the attitude of charity in a human being. As per Sri Guruji, one should donate to the Hundi daily with a surrendered prayer to the Lord to dissolve the Karmic heap of stock stored in an individual. Nearly 50 people attended the program. Smt K S Sulochana Shrinivasmurthy and Smt Sarala ( J2 ) of Hunsur Divine Sparks introduced Divine Park and its activites to the gathering, highlighting the student programs conducted at various levels.  Smt.Nagarathna Gajendra informed the attendees on the significance of Madhuvarsha. Smt.Swarnalata Rajendra concluded the program by giving a vote of thanks to the audience. 

25th December: Sambhrama Deepa organised by Divine Spark Mumbai

A Sambhrama Deepa was conducted  at the residence of Smt.Nalini Karkera in Malad West,Mumbai on 25th Dec 2012 on the occasion of their daughter Disha's 13th Birthday. The program began with the recital of Sri RamaRaksha Stotra . Mr.Dinesh Shetty highlighted the significance of Sambhrama Deepa and  importance of thanking God for all his blessings. Over 35 devotees learnt about  Simple Sadhana for Householders and children.  The combined effort of Mrs.Gangavati Putran and Mrs.Shoba Shetty contributed to this programs success and resulting in 4 Life members for Viveka Sampada.

25th December: Sri Rama Sandeepa program conducted by Divine Spark Vasai

Sri Rama Sandeepa was conducted by Divine Spark, Vasai on 25th of December at the Residence of Mrs. Shashikala Poojary at Ghatkopar West. Divine Park resource persons Smt. Shambhavi Bengre and Smt. Bharathi G. Ail Introduced Divine Park & briefed the Glory of RamaRaksha Stotra & the ways of the positive energy created by the Stotram and the way it helps us to lead life with strength, vigour and valour.

23rd December: Satsanga organized by Divine Spark Madgao

A Satsanga was organzied by Divine Sparks,Madgao at Veerashaiva Lingayat Math on 23rd Dec 2012.  Mr.Prabhakar Bellad, Divine Park Officer explained the objectives of Divine Park and Divine Sparks and their  role in fulfilling Swami Vivekananda's ideal of Man Making and Nation Building.  He also spoke about leading a blissful life devoid of any negative thoughts by following the messages of Sri Guruji and inculcating divine qualities

22nd December: Samsaara Deepa Program conducted by Divine Spark Borivili

Divine Spark Borivili conducted Samsaara Deepa program on 22nd December at Residence of Vanita Bhandari,Jai ganesh Soc, Goregaon East, Mumbai. The program focussed on several important topics of making a family life joyful. Divine Park resource persons Sri Vishwanath Tonse introduced Divine Park and its ideals to the attendees. Later Sri Dinesh Shetty dwelled deep in topics like ‘leading meaningful family life’, ‘Balancing inner 9 foes and 12 friends of salvation’, ‘meaning of Sadhana’ ‘Sadhana for housewives’, ‘work as worship’. The program ended with vote of thanks, Mangalarathi and prasada distribution.

20th December: Personality Development workshop by Divine Spark Sankeshwar

Divine Spark, Sankeshwar conducted an exclusive programme for PUC students on personality development at Government PU College, Khanapur, on 20th December, 2012. During the program, Divine Park resource person Sri Prabhakar Bellad, Smt Anita Bellad and Smt & Sri Matad addressed the students and briefed on the ways of gaining success in Student Life. Nearly 150 students were benefited from the program.

20th December: Sri Rama Sandeepa program organised by Divine Spark Bangalore, South

Sri Rama Sandeepa was organised by Konana Kunte sub-committee of Divine Spark Bangalore South on 20th December at Harinagar, Konana Kunte. The program was conducted at the residence of Smt Sridevi by Sri.B.M.Geethaprasad Smt.Vijayalakshmi who explained the significance Sri Ramaraksha Stotram with the meanings of every stanza. The program gave the audience the insight to the devotion with which Ramaraksha Stotram should be recited. Smt Sudha Nagappa gave vote of thanks to the resource persons and the attendees of the program.

16th December: Vidyarthi Deepa program conducted by Divine Spark Mira Bhayandar

Vidyarthi Deepa Program was conducted by Divine Spark Mira Bhayandar on 16th December at the residence of Mrs. Varija Shetty, Bharati Park, Mira Road. The program was intended to instill courage and confidence in the students to face the examinations with joy and face life as a challenge to move towards success. Divine Park resource persons Shobha Gangadhar and Babitha M Shetty conducted the program where they explained the students several tips for students to excel in studies.  Nearly 51 students attended this program.

15th December: Shishu Sandeepa Program conducted by Divine Spark, Mira-Bhayandar

Divine Spark, Mira Bhayandar conducted Shishu Sandeepa program on 15th December at Muncipality School, Station Market Road, Mira Road. Nearly 33 children between standard 1st to 4th underwent this unique program which was conducted by Divine Park resource persons Sri Sunder Salian and Babitha M Shetty. The program aimed at imparting the moral and spiritual values to the children with several stories, games and practical demonstrations. 

15th December:  Divine Spark Perth conducted Satsanga on ‘Serenity’

On Saturday, 15th December, Divine Spark Perth conducted a Satsanga at Sri Prasannakumar and Smt Priyaranjini’s residence at Beechboro, Perth. Sri Shankrappa Alepady addressed the devotees during the satsanga on the topic ‘serenity’. He explained various techniques as given by Sri Guruji to maintain serenity in our daily life.

14th December: Divya Paadayathre from Bangalore to Divine Park begins

On 14th December, the first ever Divya Paadayathre to Divine Park was initiated by Divine Sparks Bangalore from Nelamangala. The Paadayathre is a process followed from the ancient past where devotees walk to a temple or a holy place while chanting the glory of the Lord. The team of 15 devotees have started the journey from Bangalore which is set to conclude at Divine Park by the end of last week of December.  The devotees will be walking 15 kms in day time and 15 kms in the evenings. The team is set to visit the Divine Sparks on the way where Satsangas and mass prayers are scheduled to be held. The Paadayathre started from Nelamangala after a brief satsanga which was conducted at Divine Spark Nelamangala office. Divine Park Officer Sri Prakash Kumar Shetti spoke on the occasion explaining the importance of Paadayathre to the devotees. Divine Park Officer Sri Prashant later read out the divine message bestowed by Sri Guruji for this unique venture.

12th December : Sambhrama Deepa conducted by Divine Spark Borivilli

Divine Spark Borivilli conducted Sambhrama Deepa program at Mr Rajesh Poojari's residence on 12th of December. The program started with Sri Ram Raksha Stotra chanting and Bhajans lead by Divine Spark Volunteers. Divine Park Resource person Sri Vishwanth Tonse introduced Divine Park and its movement to the attendees. Mrs. Dinesh Shetty and Mrs.Pushpalata Uchil conducted the program and explained the importance of the deepa program and significance of conducting the same prior to any event. Explaining various spiritual Sadhanas, they later detailed the spiritual meaning of marriage as given by Sri Guruji and the qualities a husband and wife should develop in order to lead a harmonious and joyful life. 

11th December:  A Talk by Dr Aralumallige Parthsarathy arranged by Divine Spark Perth

On Tuesday, 11th December, Divine Spark Perth organised a talk by Dr.Aralumallige Parthasarathy at Bayswater community centre, Perth. The program was anchored by Sri Shrikanth Ramdurg who introduced the guest speaker to the audience. Dr Aralumallige Parthasarathy delivered an inspiring talk in kannada, on the topic “The Great Values for Great Future”. Sri Aralumallige alluded to Swami Vivekananda’s famous Chicago speech and Divine Park’s objectives in line with Swami Vivekananda’s ideals. During the program, the audience was introduced to the book, “Race for Guruji’s grace” which contains the spiritual experiences of Poojya Doctorji. After the talk, Dr Aralumallige Parthasarathy was felicitated by Sri Arunakumar BA.

10th December: Free Eye check-up camp organized at Mundaragi, Gadag

A free Eye check-up camp was organized by Divine Spark Gadag on 10th December at Sri Rukmini Pandurang Kalyan Mantap, Bhramanar Beedi Mundaragi, Gadag. The program was organized in collaboration with Dr.M M Joshi Eye Science Trust. The camp was inaugurated by Pujya Jagadguru Dr. Annadanishwar Mahashivyogi of Samsthan Math Mundaragi. Dr. M M Joshi - Director of Dr.M M Joshi Eye Science Trust, Dr B G Patil - District Ayush Officer, Sri V L Nadagoudru-Taluk Brahmanar Sangh, Sri Samiracharya Kanthhpalli from Vishwa Madhwa Maprishat and Sri R B Hulagi- President of Vithoba Trust Committee shared the dais. More than 200 eye patients were benefited by the camp and  46 patients are referred to the Hospital to undergo free cataract surgery.

9th December: Sankata Deepa program conducted by Divine Spark Singapore

On Sunday the 9th December 2012 a Sankata Deepa programme was conducted by Sri Manjunatha Swamy at Surya Home in Singapore. In the program Sri Manjunatha Swamy spoke on spiritual significance of difficulties in life as explained by Sri Guruji. He narrated a few real life examples to illustrate the grace of God in overcoming the difficulties of life. And he also described the daily Sadhana as given by Sri Guruji to the staff of Surya Home to attract bumper grace of omnipotent God to get it rid of trials and tribulations of life.

9th December: Viveka Sampada Readers meet organised by Divine Sparks Gangavati

Divine Spark Gangavati organised Viveka Sampada readers meet at Manthana Sabhangana, Gangavati on 9th December at Manthana Sabhangana, Gangavati. The program started with Sri Ramaraksha Stotram Chantings and bhajans lead by the Divine Spark Volunteers and later Sri Viresh Hiremath welcomed the audience to the program. Sri Pawar , Divine Park J2 Officer spoke on the occasion explaining about Divine Park and its ideals. Sri Shranappa Bandi , Divine Park I2 Officer later spoke to the attendees regarding the change Viveka Sampada is bringing in the minds of the people and the way it is contributing to the social welfare.  He also explained the significance of Sri Ramaraksha Stotram. Divine Spark Gangavati President Smt Lata S Malipatil was also present at the meet.

Dr Aralumallige Parthasarathy, a renowned international scholar and an expert in the field of Dasa Sahitya, was invited at the occasion who spoke on the topic “Simple Secrets for Super Success”.

Sambhrama Deepa program was organised on 8th Dec 2012 by Divine Spark Mangalore - West at Smt Jayashree Venugopals residence near Mangaladevi Temple, Mangalore on account of her daughter Sangeeta’s marriage with Pruthu Pithambar to be held on 10th Dec 2012. 5th December:  Sanchara Deepa Conducted by Divine Park Sullia

Sanchara Deepa was organised by Divine Spark Sullya on 5th December at Manjeswar,Kerala State residence sullia. The program was conducted by Sri B M Geethaprasad and Vijayalakshmi G Prasad. During the program, Sri Madhava Mudoor, Sri Ganesh and Sri Shankar Prasad Rai of Divine Sparks Sullia extolled the service of late Sri Jayachandra and the gathered devotees prayed for his Mukthi.

5th December : Students excellence seminar organised at chikmagalur

Divine Spark Chikamagalur youth wing – Veera Yuva Shakti Sanghatane, organised a student’s excellence seminar - Vidyarthi Deepa, at Vidya Bharathi Vidya Samasthe chikmagalur on 5th December. The program started with lighting lamp and a welcome speech by headmistress of the school Smt Farida and later, Smt Sudha Bapat, Divine Park officer, addressed the enthusiastic group of 450 students briefing the aspects of personality development and gave several tips to excel in studies. She also explained the qualities of Ideal student and taught some simple breathing exercises which helps in improving concentration.

2nd December: Sambhrama Deepa program conducted by Divine Spark Singapore

On Saturday, the 2nd December a Sambhrama Deepa program was conducted by Smt. Gayathri Gajanan Shanbagh at Sri Gajanan Shanbagh’s residence in Singapore. During the program Smt. Gayathri Gajanan Shanbagh spoke on the topic – ‘Significance of Marriage Celebrations’. She explained about the spiritual significance behind every ritual that we follow during our marriage celebration. The program was interactive where the devotees were clarified on many of their questions.

2nd December : Sri Guruji's Divine Discourse delivered at Kripa Kunja, Divine Park

Sri Guruji’s divine discourse 1334 was delivered in Kripa Kunja, Divine Park on 02nd December. Guruvandana was conducted post Sri Guruji Sandesha Sudhe where Poojya Doctorji gave enlightening answers to the questions posted by the assembled devotees.

1st December: Seminar on women organised by Divine Spark Kolar

Divine Spark Kolar organised a seminar on women at Patanjali Yoga Shikshana trust, PC Layout, Kolar on 1st December. The program started with Sri Ramaraksha Storam chantings and bhajans lead by Divine Spark Volunteers. Later Divine Park Kolar president Sri Shreeshailan welcomed the audience by introducing them to Divine Park and its ideals. Divine Park M2 Officer Smt Shanti Ashwathayya spoke on the occasion and briefed on the qualities women should develop in order to lead a harmonious and ideal life of householder. She explained various Sadhana techniques as given by Sri Guruji to practise during daily routine. Dr.Shivanna D.G.O., SNR Hospital, Kolar was the Chief Guest of the program who addressed the audience by giving health tips to women. He explained remedies for various commonly found ailments in women and later interacted with the audience by answering their health related questions.

1st December: Divine Spark Singapore represented at Deepavali celebrations at Batam, Indonesia

On Saturday, the 1st December, Divine Park officer Sri Manjunatha Swamy and other office bearers of Divine Spark Singapore represented ‘Deepavali’ celebrations held in Batam, Indonesia. The program was jointly conducted by all the Hindu fraternity in Batam.  During the program, Sri. Manjunatha Swamy delivered a speech in English on significance of celebrating festivals in general and Deepavali in specific.  The speech was translated to local language of Batam, Indonesia. Over 500 people were gathered for the program. During his speech, Sri. Manjunatha Swamy emphasised on the Sri Guruji’s messages to society in transforming humanity to divinity.

30th November: Mass Kumkumarchane arranged by Divine Spark Singapore

On Friday, the 30th November 2012, Divine Spark Singapore arranged for a mass Kumkumarchane at the residence of Sri. Vivekananda Hiremath. The devotees performed mass Kumkumarchane by Kumkum offerings with Sri Lalita Trishati chantings along with the prayer for the welfare of the world.

25th November : Sri Guruji's Divine Discourse delivered at Kripa Kunja, Divine Park

Sri Guruji’s divine discourse 1333 was delivered in Kripa Kunja, Divine Park on 25th November. After the Divine Discourse, Guruvandana was conducted by Poojya Doctorji with the assembled devotees answering their spiritual questions.

25th November  Vanita Sangama Organised by Divine Sparks Mysore

Vanita Sangama - A Women's program was organized by Divine Sparks ,Mysore on Sunday, 25th Nov 2012. Around 60 women attended the program wherein Divine Park's Mahila Melme officer Smt.Sandhya Aithal shared some very useful points to make Household work as worship under the aptly named topic - 'Dinachariyalli Devaru'. Well known women's doctor Smt.Sharada Srikanth addressed the gathering and spoke about the common health problems faced by women and some tips to avoid some of them.

25th November : Divya Satsanga organised by Divine Spark Chennai

Divine Spark Chennai organised a Divya satsanga on 25th November at Dr.Gurudevsingh's residence Coimbatore. Divine Park Zonal Officer Sri BM Geetha Prasad & Vijayalakshmi spoke on the occasion introducing Divine Park and 15 deepas programs which are bestowed by Sri Guruji Swami Vivekananda in Divine Park. The program was very well received by the attendees and requested to conduct such programs frequently.

25th November: ‘Sadhana day’ organised by Divine Spark Singapore

    On Sunday, the 25th November, Divine Spark Singapore conducted maiden “Sadhana Day”. It day long program started at 10 am with chanting of Sri Rama Raksha Stotra and Sri Guruji Ashtothara.  In the morning session all the devotees did Chakra Dhyana and practiced Acupressure techniques for controlling anger, jealous, lust and suspicion. Sri Pramod Gurupadevara Matha spoke on the importance of Dhanyathe, Shunyathe and Aapthathe to attract bumper divine Grace and also played audio clippings of the Sri Guruji’s Sandeshas on Dhanyathe and Aapthathe. In the afternoon session all the participants chanted Sri Vishnu Sahasranama, Bhajans, Auto Suggestions and concluded the program at 5 pm with Aarathi to Sri Guruji, Parama Guruji and Sharada Matha.

24th November: Divya Krupa Yathre arranged by Divine Spark Perth

On Saturday, 24th November, Divine Spark Perth arranged a Divya Krupayathre for the first time in Perth at Sri Bala Murugan temple, Mandogalup, Perth. The devotees assembled at the temple and performed mass prayers and meditation followed by enchanting Bhajans and Namavalis. Sri Shrikant Ramadurg addressed the devotees at the occasion and briefed about significance of Divya Krupa Yathre.

On Saturday, the 24th November 2012, Sambhrama Deepa program was conducted by Sri Manjunatha Swamy at Sri Vivekanand Hiremath's residence at Katib, Singapore on account of ‘House Warming Ceremony’ of Sri. Vivekanand Hiremath. In the program, Sri Manjunatha Swamy spoke on inner meaning of celebrating of House warming ceremony and rituals performed as part it and spiritual significance of each one of them. 

24th November : Viveka Sampada Readers Meet organised by Divine Sparks Mulki

Divine Spark Mulki organised Viveka Sampada readers meet on 24th November at Bhrama Shree Narayana Gruru Sabha Bhavana Mulki. Divine Park's Kannada Spiritual Magazine - Viveka Sampada is the number one Spiritual Magazine of Karnataka which comprises of the pearls of spiritual knowledge. Sri Gururaj Punekar, Prof of N I T K Surathkal was the chief guest of the program. Divine Park Officers Sri Rajesh Nair ad Sri Hareshchandra Rao were also present at the occasion. More than 75 people attended the function.

21st November: Satsanga conducted by Divine Spark Vasai

Divine Spark Vasai conducted a Satsanga at Jayalakshmi Shriyan's residence on 21st November at Vasai.  Divine Park Zonal Officer Sri D S Yashwant addressed the devotees with his spiritual discourse on ‘Vedantic ideals and Divine Park’. He explained the necessity of inculcating the spiritual values in family to maintain harmony and in children in specific from their childhood.  He then explained the role of an enlightened guru in a devotee’s life. Nearly 55 people attended the satsanga.

21st November: Free Eye camp organised by Divine Spark Mundaragi

Divine Spark Mundaragi organised its 11th free eye camp on 21st November in Haralpur. The camp was held in Haralapur primary school from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in association with Dr M M Joshi Eye Institute, Hubli. The program was inaugurated by Dr Uppala Gandhi, an Eye Specialist of Dr M M Joshi Eye Institute, Hubli who addressed the gathering with his talk on Eye health and Eye donation. Sitamma Jogin, Haralpura gram Panchayat president, K G Lakkundi & Yamuna V, Haralpura, gram Panchayat members, Dr Parvata gowda, Divine Park I2 Officer was also present at the occasion. Dr D H Kulkarni and Dr D A Desai along with Dr Uppala examined the patients during the camp. More than 85 people were offered free consultations and given treatment with free distribution of Eye Drops and tablets. 16 people with cataract problem were referred for free operation to the hospital.

20th November : Divya Satasanga organised by Divine Spark Mira Bhayandar

Divine Spark Mira Bhayandar organised a Divya satsanga at Billawara Association office, Mira Road (E) on 20th November. Sri D S Yashwant, Divine Park Zonal officer delivered a spiritual talk on the occasion explaining the innate divinity and the need to realise the God within at the earliest. He also spoke on the efforts of Divine Park and its branches towards the sublime goal of Man making and nation building. Sri Yashwanth cleared the doubts of the devotees about Sadhana inspiring them to do daily Sadhana without fail. His vibrant words beautifully and effectively flowed into the hearts and mind of the enchanted devotees present.

18th November : Mass Kumkumarchane held in Mumbai

On the evening of 18th November a Mass Kumkumarchane was performed in the divine presence of Poojya Doctorji at Hotel Peninsula Grand, Andheri (East), Mumbai. Kumkumarchana also known as divine dialysis is a ritual performed to offer one’s karmic stuff to Divine Mother. In the process, Kumkum is offered at the feet of Divine mother with complete surrender and helplessness along with chanting of mantras. The program began with Poojya Doctorji leading the assembled devotees to chant Sri Ramaraksha Stotra followed by enchanting bhajans by the bhajan team. Poojya Doctorji explained the significance of the ritual and the way in which one should perform Kumkumarchane. Later, Poojya Doctorji started the Kumkum offerings with Sri Lalita Trishati chantings, leading the gathered devotees who were also provided with necessary items like Kumkum, flowers, photo of Goddess to perform Kumkumarchane. Earlier in the day due to Mumbai bandh, venue of the program had to be shifted and only 350 devotees could be accomodated at the new venue. The programme, went on very well against all odds including lack of transport in the city.

18th November: Atmonnathi retreat organised by Divine Spark Chikamagalur

Divine Spark Chikamangalur organised a one day spiritual retreat – ‘Atmonnathi’ on 18th November at branch office, B M Shri Road, Chikmangalur. Divine Park resource person Prof. Venkatesh Murthy and Smt sudha bapat conducted the sessions. 30 people participated in this day long retreat.

18th November: ‘Sneha Koota’, divine spark’s get-together held in Mangalore

Sneha Koota – a get-together function was arranged by Divine Sparks Mangalore on 18th November at Sri Devi Temple Sabha Griha at Police Lane, Pandeshwar, and Mangalore. The volunteers and family of Divine Sparks of Mangalore, viz, East and West, participated in this full day event. The program started with chanting Sri Ramaraksha Stotra by the attendees and prayer by Smt Rathna Udupa, then the program was inaugurated by I2 Officer Sri Sandesh Rai, Sri Shashidhar - president of Divine Spark East and Sri Jagadish Shetty - Vice President of Mangalore West by lighting Lamp. Later Divine Park D2 officer Sri Rajesh Kumar Shetty gave a talk on topic “Family Life and Divine Park” and explained how one can lead an ideal householder’s life by following the ideals of Divine Park.  Smt Prema Prabhakar also spoke on the occasion. The program continued with various games, songs, skits and Dumb Charades which entertained the gathered. In the afternoon, Smt Devaki hishore addressed the participants on the topic “Know your Divine Park” and Sri D K Bhat performed Mono acting on ‘Shoorpanaka Garvabhanga’. The program concluded by gathering feedback from the attendees and performed Mangalarathi. Nearly 150 people attended this fun filled day event. Smt Rathna Udupa anchored the morning session of the program and afternoon’s by Smt Devaki Kishore & Kum Kausalya.

18th November : Atmonnathi retreat organised by Divine Spark Hospet

Divine Spark Hospet organised a one day Spiritual retreat - Atmonnathi on 18th November 2012 at Sri Nagareshwara Temple Hospet. Divine park resource persons Dr.N.S.Bhapat, and Mr. C.V.Prabhakar conducted the entire event. Total 35  people attended the day long retreat. I2 officer Sri G. Papaiah and with the other balaga  volunteers were also present at the program.

18th November: Atmonnathi retreat organized by Divine Spark Hangal

A one day Spiritual retreat – Atmonnathi was organised by Divine Spark Hangal on 18th November at Janata Balakiyar School, Hangal. Divine Park M2 Officer Smt Anita Bellad and Zonal officer Sri Prabhakar Bellad conducted the program. 40 people participated in this day long retreat. The program was arranged by Sri Vinayak Powar and Ramesh Bankapur.

17th November: Book Exhibition arranged by Divine Spark London

As part of Viveka Deepa program, a book exhibition was arranged by Divine Spark London at Kannada Rajyotsava 2012 function organised by Kannadigaru UK at Hatchend high school, Harrow on 17th November. KannadigaruUK is an organisation to promote Kannada Culture and Language by organising the events in UK that venerates the richness and glories of Kannada Culture. The book exhibition was set up by Divine Spark volunteers who explained the objectives of Divine Park to the visitors and the displayed the spiritual wealth published in Divine Park Publications. Kannadigaru UK volunteers were extremely helpful and co-operative in this noble venture of Divine Spark of disseminating the lofty ideals of Vedanta.

17th November: Satsanga conducted by Divine Spark Singapore

On Saturday the 17th November a Satsanga was conducted by Divine Spark Singapore at Sri Hanumanth Rao’s residence in Singapore. Sri Raghunath Holalkere spoke on the occasion on the topic ‘Twelve Friends of Salvation’ where he explained the way one can train ‘the twelve friends’ within us to make our lives happy and blissful.

17th November: Satsanga conducted by Divine Spark Mangalore - West

Divine Spark Mangalore west conducted a Satsanga at Smt Sulochana’s House at Bolpugudde, Mangalore on 17th November. The Satsanga was organised in gratitude to the Lord almighty for the grace showered upon their family. The program began by chanting Sri Ramaraksha Stotra by the attendees and singing enchanting bhajans lead by Divine Spark team. Divine Park resource person Smt Ratna Udupa then addressed the audience by highlighting the greatness of God and importance of daily Sadhana in one’s life.  She then introduced ‘Madhu Varsha’ – a sacred practise of donating some amount in Hundi (Donation) box on daily basis as a token gratitude to Lord. 14th November: Deepavali festival celebrated by Divine Spark Perth

On Wednesday, 14th November, Divine Spark Perth celebrated Deepavali Festival with a satsanga at Mrs Priyaranjini and Mr Prasanna Kumar’s home at Beechboro, Western Australia. During the satsanga Sri Shrikant Ramadurga briefed about the spiritual significance of Deepavali. Later the gathered devotees performed mass prayers for the welfare of the world by chanting Sri Rama Raksha Stotra and Bhajans. 26 devotees took part in the celebration.

13th November: Deepavali Festival celebrated by Divine Spark Singapore

On Saturday the 13th November, Divine Spark Singapore celebrated Deepavali at the residences of Smt Nanda Manjunatha Swamy and Ritu Virupaksha Bilgi. At Smt Ritu’s residence, Sri Gajanan Shanbhag addressed the audience explained the significance of deepavali celebrations. Later, all the gathered devotees chanted Lord Sri Krishna and Jaganmaatha’s mantras over 24 X 108 times as suggested by Poojya Doctorji.

11th November: Shishu Sandeepa & Vidyarthi Deepa sessions by Divine Spark USA (Maryland)

65 students are continuing to partake in the weekly Shishu Sandeepa and Vidyarthi Deepa sessions that are being conducted by Divine Spark, Maryland (USA). The adjoining picture has Dr. Gopala Krishna explaining Sri Guruji's message to the students by narrating a story from 'Shishu Kathamrutha'.

11th November: Viveka Kirana Mandira Bantawala celebrates its fourth Anniversary

Divine Spark Bantawala celebrated ‘Chaturtha Vardhantyutsava’ – the fourth anniversary of Viveka Kirana Mandira at Vivekapura, Narikombu, Bantwala on 11th November. The program started at 11:00 AM in the morning with Sri Ramaraksha Stotram chanting and bhajans by the devotees inside Viveka Kirana temple. In the afternoon, Anna Prasadam was distributed to the devotees after performing mahamangalarathi to the Lord. Vidvan Sri Somashekhara Mayya entertained the audience with his Hindustani classical music performance. Later in the day, a brief report of the temple and its activities was presented before the audience.

 Three eminent personalities from different fields were honoured on the occasion with special titles being conferred upon them as instructed by Sri Guruji – Swami Vivekananda. Vidvan Shri Somashekhara Mayya was honoured for his contribution to music with a special title of "Ganakesari",  Shri  Yohish K.S. Aladagadi as "Yakshanidhi" for his contribution to Yakshagana and Shri Janardhana acharya Sajipa as "Kalashri" for his contribution to arts. Shri Rajesh Kumar Shetti, Assistant Professor at Saint Joseph Engineering College Mangaluru, and a Divine Park officer, Shri Rajamani Ramakunja, Professor & Head of the Department Kannada, S.V.S.college Bantwala and Shri Rajagopal Acharya, an Astrologer Purohit Mogarnadu Bantwala were the guests of the program. More than 1500 people attended this grand function. One of the testimonies for the contribution of the temple and local divine spark was the presence of people in such huge numbers in the program.

11th November:  Atmonnathi retreat organised by Divine Spark Hiriyur

Divine Park’s one day spiritual retreat – Atmonnathi was organised in Hiriyur, Chitradurga on 11th November at Rotar Auditorium, Hiriyur. The program organised by Divine Spark Hiriyur was conducted by Divine Park resource person Sri. Venkatesh Murthy, Sri. C.V. Prabhakar and Smt. Leelavathi. 26 people attended this day long retreat.

10th November: Book Exhibition set up by Divine Spark London

Divine Spark London had set up a book exhibition as part of the Viveka Deepa program, at 'Deepotsava' function organised by Kannada Balaga UK at Onslow St Audrey’s School, Hatfield on 10th November. Kannada Balaga UK established in 1983 is a social network and a registered charity which aims to bring Kannadigas based in the UK together. The group welcomed and encouraged the noble efforts of Divine Spark London in man making and nation building. With the special efforts of Divine Spark Officer Sri Sanjeev Gupta, the exhibition was set up where divine spark volunteers introduced Divine Park and its objectives to the visitors along with briefing the spiritual ideas published in Divine Park publications.

10th November: Webchat session conducted with Poojya Doctorji

Webchat session was conducted with Poojya Doctorji on 10th Novemeber where he answered several questions posted by devotees around the world over spiritual matters. This is a unique platform where in devotees can seek direct divine guidance of Poojya Doctorji by posting questions on spirituality and god realisation. 10th November: ‘Harikathe’ arranged by Divine Spark Mangalore - West

Divine Spark Mangalore arranged a ‘Harikathe’ program on 10th November at Smt Vasanthi’s house at Bolpugudde in Mangalore. The program was intended to introduce Divine Park and the spiritual concepts of Sri Guruji – Swami Vivekananda to the audience gathered. The welcome speech was made by Divine Spark Mangalore – West president, Sri K.R.Saralaya followed by “Harikatha” by B C Rao and Co, Shivapura and Hebri. Sri Guruji’s ideals and Divine Park was the subject of Harikathe. Smt Rathna S Udupa concluded the programme by felicitating the artists and giving Vote Of Thanks. The programme ended with Mangalaarati and prasad distribution. Nearly 75 people attended the program.

10th November: Satsanga conducted by Divine Spark Singapore

Divine Spark Singapore conducted a Satsanga on Saturday, 10th November at Smt. Pradnya Srinivas residence in Singapore. During the Satsanga, Sri Srinivas Kshatriya spoke on Poojya Doctorji and his spiritual journey from his childhood to till he established communion with Sri Guruji-Swami Vivekananda. Sri Srinivas also explained many Sadhana practises Poojya Doctorji employed during those days.

10th November: Vidyarthi Deepa Program conducted by Divine Spark Puttur

Divine Spark Puttur conducted a student’s program – Vidyarthi Deepa at Vivekananda High School Thenkila Puttur on 10th November. Divine Park Officer Smt Padmalatha rao motivated the students to achieve excellence in studies and life by elaborating various concepts of personality development. She also explained the acupressure techniques to control the inner nature which can help develop good concentration and memory power. The program was attended by 80 SSLC students. Smt and Sri Kalluraya were also present at the occasion.

9th November: Sambhrama Deepa conducted by Divine Spark Chennai

Sambhrama deepa program was conducted by Divine Spark Chennai at the residence of Mr Obuli at Kalpakkam on 9th November. The program was conducted by Divine Park Zonal Officer Sri Yaswanth to perform special prayers for the success of Yoga Sri Raksha – the week long residential yoga program which is scheduled to start from 16th December in Divine Park.  Sri Obuli made a brief talk on Naturopathy & yogic treatment for diseases and explained about Yoga Sri Raksha program. Also he talked about the improvements seen by him after attending a Yoga Parva retreat and requested the audience to take benefits of this unique week long yoga retreat.

9th November:  Sambhrama Deepa conducted by Divine Spark Perth

On Friday, 7:30pm to 8:45pm Divine Spark Perth conducted Sambhrama Deepa program on the occasion of Smt Geetha Harish’s baby shower (Seemantha) held at Sri Harish and Smt Geetha‘s home at Perth. During the event, Sri Shrikant Ramdurg addressed the audience with his talk on the spiritual significance of baby shower as given by Sri Guruji. 4th November: Book exhibition set up by Divine Spark Perth

On Sunday 4th November, from 11:00am to 3:00 pm Divine Spark Perth arranged a book exhibition at Deepavali Mela -2012 which was organised by South Indian Association of Western Australia at Murdoch University Perth. 4th November: Divya Satsanga conducted by Divine Spark Kolara

Divine Spark Kolara conducted a divya Satsanga on 4th November at Patanjali Yoga Mandira – Near BSNL office in Kolara.  Divine Park Officer, Sri Sudesh Rao spoke on the occasion introducing Divine Park and Sri Guruji’s ideals to the audience. Book Exhibition was organised at Gurgaon, Haryana by Divine Spark Delhi on the eve of Kannada rajyotsava celebrations held on 3rd November by Karnataka Sangha in Gurgaon. On Saturday the 3rd November a Satsanga was conducted by Divine Spark Singapore at Link Room, Bukit Batok, Street 31 Singapore. In the Satsanga, Sri Manjunatha Swamy spoke on the topic ‘How to control inner nine foes of sedation’ and explained about the Acupressure techniques given by Sri Guruji , through which one can control the inner nine foes such as lust, anger, ego, suspicion etc.

2nd November: Navarathri Special program conducted by Divine Spark Gokak

Divine Spark Gokak conducted a special program on the eve of Navarathri Festival on 2nd November at Durgadevi Temple, lakshmi extension Gokak. During the event, Divine Park Officer Smt Sujatha Ramakrishna explained the significance of the festival and the way one needs to perform sadhana in these nine auspicious days. A special dance performance was given by the children on the occasion who dressed in 9 different costumes resembling 9 forms of the Goddess Durga. More than 150 people attended this program.

31st October: Vidyarthi Deepa Program conducted in Delhi

Divine Spark Delhi conducted Vidyarthi Deepa program at Sr. Secondary School, located in lodhi Estate, New Delhi on 31 October. The program was conducted by B.M.Geethaprasad and Vijayalakshmi G.Prasad which was attended by nearly 165 students participated. Many aspects of personality development and tips to achieve success in exams were highlighted along with introducing the students to pranayama.

29th October: Atmonnathi retreat by Divine Spark Ramdurg

Divine Spark Ramdurg conducted a one day Spiritual retreat ‘Atmonnathi’ on 29th October at Zilla Panchayat Bhavan ramdurg. Atmonnathi is a daylong spiritual retreat of Divine Park which educates on the practical vedantic ideals as bestowed by Sri Guruji Swami Vivekananda and shows ways of making spirituality as breath of one’s life by making Sadhana as Shodhana. The retreat illustrates in many ways that a man is meant to transcend himself from humanity to divinity and the very purpose of the life is make oneself as divine. More than 50 people attended this retreat which was conducted by Divine Park officers Sri Prabhakar Bellad and Smt Anita Bellad.

29th October: 'Beladingala Oota' arranged by Divine Spark Bangalore, North

'Beladingala Oota', a unique get-together program was arranged by Divine Spark Bangalore, North on 29th October at the branch office in Rajajinagar Bangalore.  The program started off with chanting Sri Ramaraksha Stotra by all the assembled devotees, followed by brief talks on the program by Sri Sharth K N, Sri Rakesh and Sri Prashanth. The volunteers later performed a small skit  which infused the audience with joy and enthusiasm. The program ended with having a good meal at this pleasant and jovial environment. More than 75 people gathered at this special program. 

29th October: Blood donation camp by Divine Spark Gokak

Divine Spark Gokak volunteers donated blood at Rotary blood bank on 29th October in Gokak. Divine Park Officer Smt Sujatha Ramakrishna lead the team of volunteers for this noble cause. Such blood donation camps are organised every year by Divine Spark Gokak where the volunteers and devotees gather at a blood bank to donate blood.

28th October: Bhajan program arranged by Divine Spark Delhi

Divine Spark Delhi arranged a bhajan program at Geeta Mandir, new Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi at 28th October. Nearly 50 people participated in this program. Divine Park officers Sri B.M.Geethaprasad and Smt Vijayalakshmi.G.Prasad also took part in the program.

27th October: Vanitha Sangama organized by Divine Spark Nelamangala

Vanitha Sangama, a special program for women was organized by Divine Spark Nelamangala in co-ordination with Neladani FM radio station on 27th October at Venu Divyajyothi Samskrutika Kendra Auditorium, Nelamangala. The program was intended to highlight the significance of women in leading a healthy and happy family and also the role in shaping the responsible society. Dr.Yogita a lecturer at Sushruta Ayurvedic medical college, a consultant of Ayurvedic surgeon and a dietician at Swasthya ayurvedic health care centre spoke about 'Healthy lifestyle' (Arogyabharitha Jeevana) and Divine Park D2 officer Smt. Vanishree Adiga spoke about the topic, 'The role of women in harmonious family and society'. Smt. Ratnamma Hanumatharayappa addressed the gathering and briefed about the expected ideal qualities of women. Smt. Renukamma Lecturer Divyajyoti Vidhya Kendra was the chief guest of the program. Around 80 people attended this program.

28th October: Satsanga conducted by Divine Spark Singapore

On Sunday the 28th October 2012 a Satsanga was conducted by Divine Spark Singapore at Smt. Gayathri Gajanan’s residence, Singapore. In the Satsanga, Smt Vanajakshi spoke on the topic ‘Karma Vruthantha (Vicious Circle of Karma)’ and explained about the various types of karma and their impact on one’s life. In the light of Sri Guruji’s teachings she also gave insight on getting out of this vicious circle of the karma and ways to nullify the past karmic stock.

27th October:  Navarathri festival celebrated by Divine Spark Perth

On Saturday, 27th October from 5pm to 7:30pm Divine Spark Perth celebrated ‘Navarathri’ festival at Mr. Shiva Reddy and Mrs. Vijayalaxmi Reddy’s home in Midland. During the gathering Sri.Shrikant Ramdurg explained the significance of Navarathri festival and different names and forms of Goddess Jaganmaatha to the audience. Later the gathered devotees chanted mantra “Om aim hreem shreem Jaganmaathaye Namaha” around 13000 times.

26th October: Free Eye Camp organised by Divine Spark Mundaragi

A free eye camp was organised by Divine Spark Mundaragi in association with Dr M M Joshi Eye Institute, Hubli on 26th October at Korahalli primary School, Mundaragi, Gadag District. The camp drew the local people along with villagers from the neighbouring villages. In total, 150 people were treated and free eye drops and medicines were distributed during the camp. 30 patients were referred for free eye operation to Dr M M Joshi Eye Institute. Dr Kulkarni, lead the team of eye specialists from Dr M M Joshi Eye hospital at the camp. This being the 10th eye camp by Divine Spark in Mundargi has so far arranged for free eye operation for 239 patients with cataract. Divine Park I2 Officer, Sri Shranappa Bandi was present during the camp.  

26th October: Yoga Sri Raksha workshop held in Singapore

Divine Spark Singapore arranged for a two days intensive yoga workshop – ‘Yoga Shri Raksha’ on 26th and 27th October at Arya Samaj (Opp. Mustafa) and Sri Lakshminarayana Mandir, Little India respectively. Divine Park trustee and Managing director of Svasthya health care unit Dr Vivek Udupa had been in Singapore for this cause. During this two days program over 70 patients consulted Dr. Viveka Udupa for various ailments like – Hypertension, Diabetes, Asthama, Neck & Back Pain, Headache, Obesity, Depression etc.  For many patients it was follow-up consultation and provided very positive feedback about the program and improvements in their lifestyle after adopting the yoga in their daily routine. This is the 3rd consecutive Yoga Sri Raksha program held in Singapore in the span of 10 months.

24th October: Satsanga conducted on Navarathri by Divine Spark Gulbarga

Navarathri Special Satsanga Series was conducted by Divine Spark Gulbarga from 16th October to 24th October in Power layout of Gulbarga. The programs conducted between 4PM to 6 PM everyday dwelled in the discussions of "the special Sadhana of conquering the inner nine foes of Sedation" as prescribed by Sri Guruji in his Divine Discourses. Divine Spark U2 Officer Smt Uma Ramanagouda conducted these sessions. More than 35 people attended these Satsanghs every day.

24th October: Satsanga Series on Navarathri Conducted by Divine Spark Bagalkot

Divine Spark Bagalkot concluded satsanga series on 24th October which was being conducted on the eve of Navarathri. The Satsanga was arranged in Vidyagiri in Bagalkot every day from 16th October at different venues. The satsanga were held in the light of Sri Guruji's teachings on the ways one has to pray and perform Sadhana in these nine auspicious days of Navarathri. Regularly more than 30 people attended these programs.

24th October: Navarathri Special Satsanga Series concluded at Gulbarga

Divine Spark Gulbarga conducted a special series of satsanga on Navarathri - the nine auspicious days, starting from 16th to 24th October. During these nine days, the focus of the program was on discussing about the effects of inner nine foes of sedation and ways of dealing them effectively. Divine Park Resource person Smt Vijayalaxmi Aland handled these sessions.

22nd October: Mahila Sangama organised by Divine Spark Udupi - West

Divine Spark Udupi - West organized a half day ‘Mahila Sangama’ - a special program for ladies at  Malpe on 22nd October, in association with Sri Lakshminarayan Bhajana Mandir and Sri Lakshminarayan maatru mandili , guujarbettu Malpe . Divine Park resource persons Dr. Madhava Pai and Smt. Padmalatha Rao anchored the entire event. More than 75 people were the part of this program.  The program was inaugurated by Smt. Appi T Salian, President of Mathru Mandali, Malpe. Kum. Jayashri Kadike, the M2 Officer and Vijaya Thingalaya, President of Divine Spark Udupi (W) were also present at the event. The program was coordinated by Sri. Jagadish Kunder.

21st October: ‘Kripa Yatre’ arranged by Divine Sparks Goa

We had organised Kripa yatre to Divine Park on 21st October, 2012 from Panaji, Margao, Vasco Da Gama and Ponda. Forty people participated in the Kripa Yatre. Shri. Siddanna Meti, President of Goa Karnataka Sangha also a social worker accompanied the Kripa Yatre with his family and friends. Kripa Yatre was organised by Margao Divine Spark under the leadership of Shri.Shantaram Revenakar, President of Margao Divine Spark in coordination with other committee members from Margao and Panaji.

21st October : Seminar on Leadership and Goal setting by Divine Spark Mumbai

Divine Spark Mumbai conducted a seminar on Leadership and Goal setting on 21st October at Bandra Ram Mandir. Divine Park resource persons Sri Vishnu Bhat and Sri Devidas Temkar explained the importance of goal settings and the ways of achieving those. They also briefed on leadership qualities by illustrating from the lives of the leaders from different walks of society.

21th October : Sri Guruji divya sandesha on Navarathri Festival

Divine Park celebrated Navarathri festival on 21st October along with more than 2000 devotees present in the Divine ambience of Kripa Kunja. The program started off with Sri Ramaraksha Stotram and Bhajans and later the audience was lead to chant Kaali Sahasranama & Durga Ashtottara Shata Namavali. Sri Guruji’s Navarathri Sandesha soon followed in the event.

20th October : Santasa Deepa Program conducted by Divine Spark Borivili

Divine Spark Borivili conducted Santasa Deepa program on 20th october, at Mr Jagadish Shetty Sooda's office as a thanksgiving function to the Lord on the successful completion of 10 years of business. The program was conducted by Divine Park resource persons Mrs.Jalajaskshi Kumble, Mrs.Bharati Ail & Mr.Vishnu Bhat. During the program the resource persons highlighted the importance of Sadhana and how it helps erase the kukarmas and invite god's bounteous grace. They elaborated on various sadhana techniques for the householders that can be done being in midst of various activites. Around 50 people attended this program.

20th October: Sambhrama Deepa conducted by Divine Spark Perth

On Saturday, 20th October from 5:00pm to 8:30 pm, Divine Spark Perth conducted ‘Sambhrama Deepa’ program for the first time in Perth. The program was held on the occasion of birthday of twin boys Saadhan and Shaurya’s at Sri. Shrikant Ramadurg and Smt. Premila’s residence in Perth.  Smt. Swathi Manjunath (L2 officer) anchored the program explaining the significance of birthday celebration and Sadhana to be performed on that special day. Nearly 39 devotees attended this program.

14th October: Atmonnathi retreat organised by Divine Spark Challakere, Chitradurga

Divine Spark Challakere organised a one day Spiritual retreat - Atmonnathi on 14th October at Challakere, Chitradurga. The day long retreat was conducted by Divine Park resource persons Sri. C.V. Prabhakar and Smt. Leelavathi. 36 people participated in this spiritual retreat.

14th October: Sambhrama Deepa conducted by Divine Spark Singapore

On Saturday, 14th Oct from 6 pm to 8:30 pm Sambhrama Deepa Yojane was conducted by Divine Spark Singapore at Sri Sreenivas Kshatriya’s residence, Singapore. Sambhrama Deepa is one amonst 15 Deepa Yojanes which is performed at a house prior to the commencement of the preparation for any program. The program highlights that for a successful conduct of a program, the Lord’s will is utmost essential along with the unified efforts of the family. The program illustrates the ways of doing Sadhana in the days approaching the program so that those who organise and those who were involved in the program experience happiness and bliss. During the program Sri Muthanna Badiger highlighted these aspects to the attended devotees.

14th October : Viveka Deepa Yojane by Divine Spark Chikkodi

Divine Spark Chikkodi organised a one day Viveka Deepa Program on 14th October in Raibag. With the special efforts and initiative of Divine Park officer Smt Anita Bellad, the team of volunteers visited several houses throughout the day introducing the grand spiritual Ideas published in Divine park publications. More than 80 people subscribed for Divine park magazine Viveka Sampada during the drive.

14th October: Viveka Deepa Yojane organized by Divine Spark Bagalkote

Divine Spark Bagalkote organized a half day Viveka Deepa Yojane on Sunday 14th October in Bagalkote. Divine Spark Bagalkot volunteers along with president participated in this drive. The team of volunteers visited many houses during the drive and introduced Divine Park publications to many families. More than 40 families subscribed for  Viveka Sampada and Viveka Veena.

14th October: Viveka Deepa arranged by Divine Spark Kembavi

Divine Spark Kembavi arranged a full day Viveka Deepa program on 14th October in Kembavi. This unique program involves volunteers visiting door to door for dissemination of spiritual ideas that are published in Divine Park’s publications. During this mass campaign, more than 100 families subscribed for Viveka Sampada which is a quarterly spiritual magazine from Divine Park.

14th October: Service activity at Surya Home by Divine Spark Singapore

On Sunday the 14th Oct 2012, Divine Spark Singapore paid visit to Surya Home, a home for mentally challenged people in Singapore. The home also shelters and care for less fortunate individuals providing residential care to more than 600 physically challenged persons. Over 75 devotees assembled at Surya Home premises and performed mass prayers for wellbeing of all the residents of Surya Home, staff and management which was followed by bhajans along with the residents. The volunteers then served lunch to all the residents while some of them spent some time in mopping indoors and cleaning premises. The residents of the home and staff were very happy with the visit and have sent a gratitude letter in response to the warm and loving visit paid by Divine Spark Singapore.

14th October: Divya Viveka Deepa Yojane organized by Divine Spark Gulbarga

Divya Viveka Deepa Yojane - A mass campaign for dissemination of spiritual ideas was organized by Divine Spark Gulbarga on Sunday, 14th October. Volunteers having gathered at a sacred place like temple, pray for the day's success of the campaign in the divine abode. After performing mass prayers, they set out for door to door visits introducing the grandest spiritual ideas which are published in Divine park famous magazines viz., Viveka Sampada, Viveka Veena , Viveka Kirana and many other divine park publications. Divine Spark Gulbarga's volunteers, Smt Kaveri Jidagekar, Sri K.R.Kulkarni, Smt Umadevi Ramanagouda,Smt Vijaylaxmi Alanda,Smt Sangamma Patil, Jyoti Patil, Sri Mandarwadkar and Smt Vijaylaxmi Muglikar made special efforts in making this event happen on that day.

14th October: Vidyarthi Deepa organized by Divine Spark Mumbai

Divine Spark Mumbai organized Vidyarthi Deepa - a student program at Ram Mandira - Branch office, Bandra East,Mumbai on Sunday 14th October.The program focused on topics 'Success in Examinations' and 'Daily routine of an ideal student' provided students with the tips of succeeding in exams and also inspire to lead a disciplined life .Resource persons Sri Devidas Temkar and Sri Vishwanath Tonse conducted the program attended by more than 25 students.

13th October : "Anna Prana" Yojane arranged by Divine Spark Mangalore - West

Anna Prana Yojane, the unique service activity of distributing food to the needy is being continued by Divine Spark-Mangalore West every Month since last few years. The Donors along with their family members joined hands with the volunteers in the various sevas activities like vegetable cutting, packing, cleaning etc., in this programme, different types of items made up of rice are hygienically prepared by the volunteers in a very sacred manner by chanting Sri Rama Raksha Stotra and other mantras and by singing Bhajans. Nearly 125 packets of food are placed before the Lord and after Mangalarathi, 2-3 people carry the food bags and distribute to the beggars, orphans or to the needy.

13th October: Sambhrama Deepa conducted by Divine Spark Singapore

On Saturday the 13th Oct Sambhrama Deepa yojane was conducted by Sri Manjunatha Swamy at Smt. Rashmi Balraj’s residence at Bukit Batok, Singapore. During the satsanga Sri Manjunath Swamy highlighted the importance of the Sadhana for the successful completion of a program and mentioned that the Sambhrama would become fruitful and satisfying with Lord’s grace. Around 25 devotees attended this Satsanga.

13th October : A 'Yoga Parva' retreat concluded at Divine Park

13th October : Satsanga conducted by Divine Spark Gulbarga

Divine Spark Gulbarga conducted a satsanga on 13th October in Gulbarga. The program was conducted by Divine Park Zonal Officer Sri Prabhakar Bellad who explained the concepts of Sadhana to the audience. 13th October : Shishu Sandeepa series concluded in Hunsur

Divine Spark Hunsur arranged a concluding ceremony for a Shishu Sandeepa series on 13th October in Hunsur. Shishu Sandeepa program was conducted for 5 days from morning 7 to 9 AM from 9th till 13th October by  Divine Park resource person K S Sulochana saw the attendance of around 50 students daily.  Divine Park I2 Officer, Sri Arun Kumar spoke on the occasion on instilling the moral values which were exemplified in the lives of the Holy Trio - Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Sri Sharada Devi and Swami Vivekananda.

12th October : Vidyarthi deepa conducted by Divine Spark Raichur

Vidyarhi Deepa program was arranged by Divine Spark Raichur on 12th October. The students from 8th standard till graduate had gathered for this program which was conducted by Divine Park Zonal Officer Sri Prabhakar Bellad. He mentioned various tips in excelling in studies and also forming a strong character in one's life. Around 30 students attended this deepa program.

11th October : Samsaara Deepa conducted by Divine Spark Raichur

Samsaara deepa was conducted by Divine Park Zonal officer Sri Prabhakar bellad in Raichur on 11th October. Samsaara Deepa is a unique program conducted at the houses which elaborates the ways of achieving harmony in one's life by proper sadhana. The simple sadhana prescribed by Sri Guruji for householders is highlighted and stressed in this deepa program. 9th October: Discourse on “Essence of Vedas & Upanishads” by Divine Spark Singapore

On Tuesday the 9th October2012 a discourse on ‘Essence of Vedas & Upanishads’ was delivered by Sri. C.V.Gopinath at Sri Gajanan Shanbhag’s residence. In the discourse, Sri Gopinath explained the importance of Omkara and its origin as narrated in Vedas. While explaining various topics from Vedas & Upanishads, he also shared his own experiences. Over 25 devotees attended the discourse.

7th October: Shishu Sandeepa conducted by Divine Spark Belgaum

Shishu Sandeepa - a program for children was conducted by Divine Spark Belgaum on Sunday, 7th October. With the dedicated efforts and initiative by Divine Park volunteer Shraddha P. Bellad, this program is being conducted every Sunday since 2 months. The program concentrates on instilling Moral values in the children along with tips to succeed in studies.

7th October : Special Program on Navarathri by Divine Spark Chennai

Divine Spark Chennai conducted a special program to start off Navarathri Celebrations on 7th October at Karnataka Sangha School, T Nagar, Chennai. The program started off by lighting the lamp and Sri Ramaraksha Stotra chanting by Divine Spark Members. The program continued with devotional bhajans by ‘Nama Vaibhava’ Group followed by a talk on ‘Preema Bhakti’ by Dr Thygarajan. Divine Park Zonal Officer Sri D S Yashwant spoke on the occasion highlighting the spiritual significance of Navarathri and the way the nine precious days is to be observed. Children present at the occasion performed a dance and chanted various shlokas before the audience. More than 65 people were the part of this special program.

7th October: 'Readers meet' organized by Divine Spark Bangalore

Divine Spark Bangalore South, organized "Readers Meet" at HAL Conventional Centre, HAL Qtrs, Bangalore on Sunday, 7th October. Divine Park's Magazines Viveka Sampada, Viveka and Viveka Kirana's readers were invited for the program. The program started with Sri Ram Raksha Stotra chanting and Bhajans by volunteers followed by an inspiring speech by Swamy Chandreshananda, Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Sadhana Kendra, Devasandra, K.R. Puram. Reverend Swamiji spoke on the life and ideals of Swami Vivekananda. Divine Park youth President Sri Purushottam Somyaji spoke on "The Role of Youths in Nation Building" and also introduced Divine Park activities to the attendees. Dedicated social worker, Sri Jadoo Jagannath who runs 'Samrakshana Trust'-a home for orphan children, displayed his magic skills before the audience. More than 150 people attended the program. Divine Park Officer Ravishankar and Ex-President of Divine Spark Bangalore South Bharat shared the dais.

7th October: Satsanga on ‘Spirituality and Rituality’ by Divine Spark Singapore

On Sunday the 7th October from 6 pm to 9 pm a satsanga was conducted by Sri Srinivas Kshatriya at Sri Arvind’s residence. During the program, Sri Srinivas spoke on the topic ‘Spirituality and Rituality’ and explained about rituals and their inner meaning in performing them. 25 devotees attended the Satsanga and understood the limitations of the rituals and their importance of transcending to spirituality.

7th October : 'Sevashree' draws more than 500 participants to Divine Park

More than 500 people participated in a one day retreat - "Sevashree" arranged in Kripakunja Auditorim by Divine park on Sunday 7th October. This day long retreat was meant to motivate the people on the path of 'seeva' - service and was carried out under the guidance of Poojya Doctorji. Distingwished guests spoke on many topics related to seeve and inspired the audience to make service as part of their daily life. Poojya Doctorji then spoke on the topic "Seeveya Sarthakya " (Fulfillment of service) and elaborated the various ways of perfoming the service and the attitude one has to wear while serving. He also highlighted that one must do atleast one hour of service along with minimum 24 mins of Sadhana every day. Later in the day Poojya Doctorji cleared the doubts of many people by conduting a question and answer session with the participants gathered. This happens to be the last one day retreat of Divine Park for this year.

6th October: 'Santwanashri' conducted by Divine Spark Perth, Australia

Divine Spark Perth conducted Santwanashri on 6th October at Sri Shankrappa and Smt Manjula’s residence in Perth. The program involved a fruitful and interactive discussion on the topic "Does God Exist?" where the  gathered devotees shared their thoughts and perceptions about God. 2nd October : 'Jago Bharat' organised by Divine spark Margoa and Panaji

Divine Spark, Margao & Panaji organised, one of the kannada's best motivational and patriotic program "JAGO BHARAT" on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti, 2nd october 2012. The program aimed to awaken the Rashtra prema and Rashtra bhakti was conducted by a spirited & youthful team lead by Sri Chakravarthi Sulibele a popular orator, columnist and a social worker. The programme started off by chanting Shree Ramaraksha Stotra, lead by Divine Spark members and then Jago bharat team took stage to perform. The program comprised of heart touching patriotic speeches with narration of incidents of our national heros coupled with patriotic songs, which infused a great love and respect for our motherland in the audience. Nearly 600 people from different parts of goa attended this grand function. Shri.Damodar (Damu) G.Naik, Ex.MLA of Fatorda Constituency, also a BJP spokesperson was the chief guest for the function.

30th September: Peformance day by Shishu Sandeepa and Vidyarthi Deepa Students of Divine Spark, USA (Maryland)

The students of Shishu Sandeepa & Vidyarthi Deepa of Divine Spark, USA, Maryland, performed of the aspects they had learnt in the past three weeks of the training by Divine Spark Maryland volunteers. The students gave group performances in the form of skits, enactment of episodes from the Mahabharata, Jeopardy based on the Mahabharata characters, and bhajans. The students learning the languages - Kannada, Hindi and Samskritam, displayed their language skills through skits, songs and plays. 59 students participated in 11 groups in this 'Performance Day'.

30th September: Health Checkup and awareness program organized by Divine Spark Chennai/Tambaram

Divine Spark Chennai organized a Health Checkup and awareness program on 30th September at Vittalapuram, Kalpakkam Chennai. The program started at around  11 in the morning with talk on 'women's health' in tamil by Dr Malathy, Gynecologist followed by individual consultations with patients by Dr K P Sahana, the General Physician. Medicines and other assistance like staff nurses etc are sponsered by BHAVINI - Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited . Around 160  people were benefited by this program. In the evening a talk on 'Diabetes' was arranged at BHAVINI Township Anupuram, Chennai which was atteded by more than 25 people.

A dental camp was organized by Divine Spark Nanjangud on 30th September, Sunday at Basavattige -a small village 15 kms from Nanjangud. Around 80 patients got free dental check-up and consulting . A team of dentists headed by Divine Park A2 Officer Dr.Nataraj ensured that the patients are given proper treatment /consulting thereby carrying out Jeevashiva seve.

28th September: Ganesha Chaturthi celebrated by Divine Spark Singapore

On Friday the 28th Sep 2012 from 7 pm to 10 pm, Ganesha festival celebration was held at Smt. PradynaSrinivas’ Residence. Mass prayers and bhajans on Lord Ganesha were sung with Devotion during the program. Smt. Pradnya shared mythological stories of Lord Ganesha. Mr. Gajanan presented the summary of Sri Guruji’s Ganesh Chaturthi Sandesha at Divine Park. The Sacred mantra “Gam Ganadhipathaye Namaha” was chanted for more than 10000 times filling the ambience with divinity.

26th September: Varun Deepa program organized by Divine Spark Solapur

Varun Deepa program  has been organised by Divine Spark Solapur at Jatta, Sangali dist. starting from 26th September. The Deepa program will be conducted every evening for next 10 days till 6th October. Varuna Deepa is one amongst the 15 Deepa Yojanes bestowed by Sri Guruji which involves performing special prayers to the lord almighty to produce rainfall. More than 75 people gathered for this mass prayer anchored by Divine Park Zonal Officer Sri Prabhakar Bellad. 25th September: Athmonnathi Shibira conducted by Divine Spark Mulki

Divine Park's one day Spiritual retreat "Athmonnathi" was organized by Divine Spark Mulki on Saturday, 25th September at N.I.T.K college Seminar hall, Surtkal.Divine Park Aatmonnathi resource persons Smt Padmalatha Rao,Smt Jayashree Bhat, Sri Rajesh Kumar Shetty and Sri Parameshwar Karkera conducted the retreat. The program saw participation of 55 people.

23rd September: Satsanga conducted by Divine Spark Singapore

On Saturday the 23rd Sep 2012 from 6.00 pm to 9 pm a satsanga was conducted in Singapore by Dwarakanath Malekar on the topic “The Glory of Temples”. Sanctity of temples was explained, background behind the advent of few very popular temples was shared. Scientific explanations were given on the rituals performed during the installation of deity in temples. Significance of usage of Pooja materials was explained scientifically. The ideal frame of mind while going to temples, correct method of praying and behaviour in temples and importance of towers, Garbhagudi and other structures in temples were explained in the satsanga.

23rd September : Ganesha Chaturthi celebrated in Divine Park

Ganesha Chaturthi Festival was celebrated in the holy ambience of Divine Park on 23rd October. The day began at 6:30 in the morning with pooja and archane to Lord Sri Ganesha by Poojya Doctorji in Divine Park temple. The next program began in Kripa Kunja Auditorium in the afternoon at 2:30 by chanting Ramaraksha Stotram and bhajans which was lead by Poojya Doctorji. The whole auditorium seemed to reverberate with divinity when the gathered devotees recited  GaneshaSahasranamavali and  GaneshaAshtottaraShatanamavali with the offering of flowers and garike-grass to the Lord. Poojya Doctorji then continued the program with enchating devotional bhajans on Lord Sri Ganesh. Sri Guruji Divine discourse session soon followed the event. 23rd September: Santadhwani program started by Divine Spark Kundapur

Divine Spark Kundapur organized a special program "Santadhwani" to kick start a one month mass subscription drive for Viveka Veera Voice (V3) and Viveka Vani(V2). V3/V2 - is a daily voice messages of Poojya Doctorji which can be received over phone. In these messages Poojya Doctorji explains the ways of bringing spirituality in our daily routine thereby divinising our life. Click here for more information on V3/V2. 22nd September : Vidyarthi Deepa conducted by Divine Spark Chennai/Tambaram 

Divine Spark Chennai conducted a Vidyarthi Deepa at at AEC (Atomic Energy Center) school at Anupuram , Chennai on Saturday 22nd September. Program Objective was to realize Goal of Student life and achieving Success. The program was conducted by Nayan Chand Rao for more than 80 Students.

22nd September: Divine Spark Singapore conducts satsanga on Sadhana

On Saturday the 22nd Sep from 6 pm to 8:30 pm a Satsanga was conducted by Sri Manjunatha Swamy at Smt. Rashmi Balraj’s residence at Bukit Batok Singapore. In the satsanga which was arranged by Divine Spark Singapore, Sri Manjunatha Swamy spoke on the topic ‘Daily Spiritual Sadhana’  and explained the various forms of Sadhana which includes bhajans, prostrations, Isthamanta Japa, Likitha Japa, Pranayama etc. He also mentioned the possible hurdles while performing Sadhana & ways to overcome those. In the light of Sri Guruji’s inspired messages on Sadhana, Sri Manjunath Swamy stressed on the need of making Sadhana as a Shodhana and thereby making it more lively and fruitful.

22nd September: Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration by Divine Spark Perth, Australia

Divine Spark Perth volunteers celebrated Sri Ganesh Chaturthi at  Mr & Mrs.Chethan Khatokar and Divya’s residence on Saturday, 22nd  September. The Program was hosted by Sri.Shrikant Ramadurg who explained the significance of Hindu festival as well as Significance of Lord Ganesh. The Devotees chanted mantra “Gam Ganadhi Pathaye Namaha” around 11000 times with offering  flowers to the Lord Sri Ganesh. On the same day, Divine Spark Perth website (www.divinesparkperth.org) has been  launched by Sri Shrikant Ramadurg. The dedicated efforts of N2 officer Sri Harish  it was possible to launch the website. 

22nd September : Vidyarthi Deepa conducted by Divine Spark Chennai

Divine Spark Chennai conducted a Vidyarthi Deepa at Kendriya Vidyalaya Kalpakkam, Chennai on Saturday 22nd September. The topic covered was "Goal Setting and Success in Life". Divine Park resource person Nayan Chand Rao conducted this program for more than 55 Students.

22nd September : Divine Spark Thane conducts Sugama Sadhana Deepa in Tulu

Divine Spark Thane in association with Mumbai Bunts Sangha conducted Sugama Sadhana Deepa on 22nd September at Bantara Bhavan Kurla East Mumbai. Divine Park G2 officer Sri Prakash Kumar Shetty , Dr Satishshankar Kamath & Sri Vishwanath Tonse conducted the entire program in Tulu. More than 60 people attended the program. The program was possible with the support from Sri Vasant Poojari & Sri Ashok Pakkal - Chairman of Cultural Commitee Kurla Bunts.

21 September: Ganesha Chaturthi Festival celebrated by Divine Spark Singapore

Sri Ganesha Chaturthi Festival was celebrated by Divine Spark Singapore on 21st September at Smt Rajeshwar Jeetendra’s residence. On the grand occasion, Sri Gajanan elaborated the significance of Festivals and Ganesh Chaturthi in particular. The ambience seemed to have filled with divinity when the Sacred Mantra “Gam Ganadhipathaye Namaha” was chanted for more than 8000 times by the gathered devotees, which was followed by enchanting bhajans on Lord Sri Ganesha sung with devotion. 

19th September : Mass prayer and Bhajan Program on Ganesh Chaturthi by Divine Spark Mira-Bhayandar

One of the most important Hindu festival, Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with devotion and dedication by all the members of Divine Spark Mira-Bhayandar at Smt. Vimalakshi Kumble residence Shanti Nagar Sector-two Mira Road(East) on 19th September. Celebration involved mass prayer and Bhajan program by more than 35 devotees.

19th September : Sri Rama Kripa Deepa conducted by Divine Spark Vasai

Sri Rama Kripa Deepa was conducted by Divine Spark, Vasai on 19th September at the Residence of Mrs. Neha Parlekar at Virar,  (West). Divine Park resource persons Smt. Vatsala D. Ail and Smt. Bharathi G. Ail Introduced Divine Park &  briefed the Glory Of RamaRaksha Stotra & the ways of the positive energy created by the Stotram and way it help us to lead life with strength, vigour and valour. The program was attended by more than 25 people which very well arranged by Smt. Anasuya Amin & Rohini Kotian.

16th September: Divine Spark Singapore conducts satsanga on Swami Vivekananda and His ideals.

On Sunday 16th Sep from 6 pm to 9 pm a satsanga was conducted by Divine Spark Singapore on Swami Vivekananda and his ideals at Smt Sujatha and Sri Nandagopal’s residence. The satsanga was chaired by Smt Sujata and Sri Nandajopal where they explained the life of Swami Vivekananda from the childhood till he becomes world renowned by his Chicago speech. They emphasised with many stories of Swamiji’s life on how to lead a life with courage and determination. The continuation part of the program will be arranged in the month of November.

16th September : Shishu Sandeepa program conducted by Divine Spark Sullya

Shishu Sandeepa - is a program for children aged between 5-10 to inculcate moral values and to instil noble qualities, was conducted  by Divine Spark Sullya at Kanakamajalu grama samithi on 16th September. Divine Park resource persons Tharanath mupperia, Udaya bhaskar and sumathi kuthyala conduct this program once in 15 days on Sunday at the same venue. The program was initaited two months back and hass seen active participation of more than 30 students every time.

16th September : Stress Management Program by Divine Spark Mumbai

Divine Spark Mumbai conducted a stress management program at Ram Mandir Bandra east Mumbai on 16th September. Dr Anjali Gokhale conducted the entire event titled "How to deal with stress effectively". 55 people attended the program.

16th September : Samsara Deepa conducted by Divine Spark Mira Bhayander

Samsara Deepa was conducted by Divine Spark, Mira- Bhayander on 16th September at the Residence of Mr.Vinay Shetty at Sheetal Nagar, Mira Road (East). Divine Park resource persons Smt. Vatsala D. Ail and Smt. Bharathi G. Ail breifed on the ways of doing Sadhana to erase the Karmic stock, and stressed on the  practise of introspection and evaluation of our daily routine. The program was attended by more than 30 people which very well arranged by Smt. Malini J. Karkera.

16th September : Vishwamangala Homa in Ranebennur

Divine Park’s Mass program, Vishwamangala Homa was conducted in Ranebennur on 16th September for the weal and welfare of the world. Vishwamangala Homa is a yagna conducted by Poojya Doctorji himself is unique in its own way where every participant is given chance to offer Aahuti to Homa kunda. More than 4000 people had gathered for this sacred ceremony held at Muncipal Stadium Ranebennur. The program began in the auspicious hour of Bhrami mohoortam, 4 AM on Sunday, 16th September with Sri Ramaraksha Stotra and bhajans lead by Poojya Doctorji. Six Aahutis were offered to deities starting from Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Ganesh, Shiva , Vasuki , Navadurge and Sri Sharadadevi. The atmosphere reverberated with the chanting of the divine mantras throughout the program which was lead by Poojya Doctorji and team constituted of Sri Nagraj Laxmeshwar, Sri Ashok Budihal, Sri Ramesh Bankapur, Sri Madhava Pai, Sri Vasudev Bevinkatti & Sri Navin Mahapurush. Dr Yarnal, the Arogya Asare officer of North Zone 2 was alongside Poojya Doctorji to offer Ghee to Homa kunda. This being a much awaited event of North Zone, the volunteers lead by the president of the program, Sri Eshwar G Havanur worked for the arrangement of the event from past 2 months. The program was very successful with Sri Guruji bestowing a special message that the divine effect of this Homa will prevail the surrounding 500 miles for 500 days. 

Next Vishwamangala Homa will be on 1st January 2013 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM at Divine Park.

15th September: Vidyarthi Deepa organized by Divine Spark Vasai

Vidyarthi Deepa – An Integrated Personality Development program for  Students, was organized by Divine Spark Vasai at Joyit Poojari's residence on 15th September. More than 27 students participated in the program. Mrs. Jayanthi Uchil and Mrs. Bharathi Ail conducted the entire event. There was a very active participation from all the students & parents. The program was arranged by Mrs. Joyti Poojari.

9th September: Free Medical Camp organized by Divine Spark Channapatna

Free Medical check-up camp was organized by Divine Spark Channapatna at B J L public school Channapatna on 9th September. Dr Shivaprasad - MD. DM (Endocrinology) working in M S Ramayya Hospital Mathikere and Dr Lokesh (Physician) Bowring Hospital Shivajinagar Bangalore, examined more than 200 people. The camp was organized with support of  Lions club Channaptna and Lions Club Arohana Channaptna Research Society for Diabetics in India, Karnataka Chapter.

9th September : Shishu Sandeepa & Vidyarthi Deepa series commenced by Divine Spark USA (Maryland)

Divine Spark, USA (Maryland) commenced it's Shishu Sandeepa & Vidyarthi Deepa series of programs on September 9th, 2012, for the academic year Sept 2012 - Aug 2013. A dedicated group of around 20 resource persons have embarked on this project in Maryland, for the seventh year. Besides learning bhajans, shlokas and stories from Mahabharata, religious discipline, values and significance of the various forms of God are being explained in these sessions to children. 68 students aged 4 to 17 years have registered for this weekly program. Kannada, Hindi and Samskritam languages are also being taught. The attached picture has Smt Bela Shah (President of Divine Spark, Maryland) reading Sri Guruji's message during Shishu Sandeepa.

9th September : Atmonnathi Retreat organized by Divine Spark Chitradurga

One-day Spiritual Retreat Atmonnathi was conducted by Divine Spark Chitradurga at Sharadhamma Rudrappa Kalyana Mantap, Chitradurga on 9th September. More than 56 people participated in the retreat.  The program was conducted by Divine Park Resource persons Sri. C.V. Prabhakar, Smt. Leelavathi Sadashiva and Smt. Mangala Kodihalli.

9th September : Samsara Deepa organized by Divine Spark Thane

Divine Spark Thane organized Samsara Deepa at Swami Nityanand Mandir Bhandup West Mumbai on 9th September. Samsara deepa Yojane – one amongst the 15 Deepa Yojanes (Projects) of Divine Park specially aimed at establishing harmony in a family. The program conducted by Shri Vishwanath Tonse, Smt. Malini J Karkera & Shri Dinesh Shetty. More than 65 people attended the program.

9th September: Vanitha Sangam conducted by Divine Spark Bangalore North

Vanitha Sangama - a special program for women was conducted by Divine Spark Bangalore North at Prasanna Ganapathi Temple premises hall, Vijayanagar Bangalore on 9th September. More than 65 people attended the program. Divine park resource person Smt. Vanishree Adiga spoke on Divine Park Objectives and its activities, Smt. Saraswathi Dhiraj briefed about importance of Yoga and Pranayama on one’s lifestyle and Dr Yogitha spoke on the effect of food on health. Ms. Shankunthala, cooperator of Saraswathi Nagara expressed gratitude towards Divine Spark for conducting this program.  

9th September: Vidyarthi Deepa conducted by Divine Spark Vasai

Divine Spark Vasai conducted Vidyarthi Deepa – a Students program, at Utkarsha Vidyalaya English Medium School, Virar on 9th September. More than 76 students participated in the program. Kumari. Rashmi Ail and Sri. Srikumar conducted the entire event. The topics being 'secret of success in life', 'how to get relieved from the fear of examination','how to develop concentration' and aspects of moral development. There was a very active participation from all the students, the Headmistress and other staff of the school were very happy with the program and applauded the efforts of Divine Park in this regard. The program was arranged by Smt. Bharathi G.Ail.

8th September: Vanita Sangama organized by Divine Spark Pandavapur

"Vanita Snagama" – A program for women was organized by Divine Spark Pandavpura on 8th September at Sai Mandira,Pandavpura, Mandya Dist. The program was conducted with support of Divine Spark Kyatanhalli. Sri Chidanand, Divine Park D2 Officer introduced Divine Park to the audience. Divine Park Mahila Melme officer Sandhy Ayithal spoke on topic 'Family life in harmony', Divine Park Guru Gandha officer Vimala Goli and Divine Park Bhajan Training officer Premakala Malya shared the stage. More than 200 people attended the program.

Samsmarana Deepa program was conducted by Divine Spark Mira-Bhayandar, at Shri Shashidhar Bangera’s residence, Mira Road(East) on 8th September. More than 30 people attended the program. This spiritual program was conducted by Smt. Rohini Karunakar ,Smt. Bharathi, Smt. Kusum S. Bangera, Smt. Malini J. Karkera and Master Prajwal J. Karkera.

One day Spiritual Retreat Atmonnathi was conducted by Divine Spark Kadaba Bilinele at Vasant Gowdar’s residence, Manibail - Kukke Subrahamanya on Saturday, 8th September. The program was conducted by Divine Park resource persons Sri Chandrashekara Hosur, Smt Padmalatha Rao and Sri Tharanath. More than 70 people participated in this one day retreat.

7th September: Vidyrathi Deepa organized by Divine Spark Chennai

Divine Spark Chennai organized Vidyarthi Deepa – integrated Personality Development program for students, at Government School, Vittalapuram Chennai on 7th September. Divine Park Zonal Officer Sri Yashwanth conducted the program in Tamil, which was attended by 80 students.

2nd September : Sri Guruji Divine Discourse delivered at Kripa Kunja, Divine Park
