18th April: Shree Rama Sandeepa Program At Borivili
On the eve of Rama Navami festival, Shree Rama Sandeepa Program was conducted in the residence of Mrs Premalatha Kanchan. The program started with 'Omkara' chanting and oath. The importance of reciting Sri Ramaraksha Stotra and its benefits were explained during the program.Other useful topics like - How easy is is to householder to practice and make it a integral part of the daily life, How simple type of Sadhana and How householder could get God's grace easily were covered during the program. 14th April: Samsmarana Deep At Mumbai
Divine Spark Borivili conducted Samsmarana Deepa spiritual programon 14th April, from 5 7 pm, at the residence of Mr Somnath karkera, at Goregaon, East Mumbai. As part of Seva sahakara program, On March 24th, Divine Spark, Chennai visited "Vishranthi Home For The Aged". Lunch was sposored by the Divine Spark. 23rd March: Book Exhibition At Kalpakkam
As part of Viveka Deepa program, a book stall was arranged at Anupuram township, Kalpakkam. On the eve of Annual Entertainment Carnival,the book exhibition was set up inside Bhavini Stall by B.Obuli. Basavaraj and Ashok kumar explained the objectives of Divine park to the visitors. Divine Park publications in all languages were displayed to disseminate the lofty ideals. Almost all the Tamil books were sold out. The book exhibition as set up from 23rd to 30th March. Apart from Book sale, people also showed immense enthusiasm to get subscription of Viveka Sampada, Viveka Veena and Viveka Kirana - Divine Park's magazine.

17th March: Sanmati Day Celebration At Panaji
Sanmati Day was celebrated on 17th March by Divine Spark, Panaji. As part of the celebration, the devotees visited the hostel of St.Aloysis High School, Diwadi, Goa and distributed Food grains, Oil, Daal and biscuits to the inmates of the hostel. Shri A.M.Pujari and Shri Shridhar Hebbar were present during the occasion. The program was started by chanting Shree Ramaraksha Stotra and students were explained regarding the benefits of the Stotra, in improving concentration and promoting overall development.

Vidyarthi Deepa - a unique student-oriented program was conducted at Borivali. 65 students from 5th, 6th and 7th standard were benefited from the program. 29th January: Samudra Pooje Programme Conducted At Malpe
Divine Spark Udupi(W) performed ‘Samudra Pooja’ at Malpe on 29/1/2013 at 6:30 pm . As per the directions received from Sri Guruji, the devotees offered tender coconut, fruits, flowers, milk etc. to the ocean with the prayer to enrich them with divine qualities. They prayed together for the betterment of the entire world, chanted ‘Ishta Mantra’ and Ramaraksha sthotra. The active volunteers of Udupi (W) Sri Monappa Kunder and Ganesh Puthran coordinated the entire programme. About 50 voluanteers, some of them from Mumbai, participated in the proogramme.

Divine Sparks Chennai celebrated Youth Day, the birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on 20th January 2013 at Karnataka Sangha School, T.Nagar. The program started with recitation of Sri RamaRaksha Stotra and Bhajans. Guest speaker Smt.Malathi Simha,Psychologist spoke about the different stages of parenting. Emphasizing on Emotional, Social and Value quotient of the child, she mentioned that parents play a major role in shaping their child’s future. Her message about the four pillars of a strong relation- Communication, commitment, Trust and tolerance was well accepted by over 65 attendees.
Another Guest speaker Retd.Colonel Radhakrishnan spoke about the importance of discipline in a child’s life. Cultural activities such as speech on Swami Vivekananda, Patriotic songs and classical dances were performed by the kids.

14th January: Inauguration of New Udupi Divine Spark Office In Malpe
Divine Spark Udupi(w) opened one more ‘karyalaya’ in Kartik Sahaj building, Main Road, Malpe, Udupi, In order to carry out the activities more extensively. Its inaugural function was held on the auspicious occasion of Makara Sankramana, on 14.01.2013 as per the directions of Sri Guruji. Sri K. G. Karisidhappa and Sri Sripathi Somayaji, the trustees of Divine Park were the chief guests. Sri K. G. Karisidhappa inaugurated the programme by lightening the lamp. 12th January: Sri Guruji's Birthday Celebrated by Divine Spark & Veera Yuva Shakti Koota, Chickmagalur
On the occassion of Shir Guruji Swami Vivekananda's 150th Birth Anniversary, Nagara Sankeertana was organized by Divine Spark and Veera Yuva Shakti Koota,Chickmagalur on 12th January 2013. An idol of Shri Guruji and portraits of Paramaguruji and Shri Sharada matha were placed on a decorated Ratha borrowed from Ranebennur. The procession which started from Bolarameshwara Temple at 5:30 pm ended at Kote Anjaneya temple passing through IG road,Hanumanthappa circle and MG road covering a distance of 4 kilometers.
The whole route of procession reverbrated with chanting of Mantras and Bhajans by over 80 Viveka Manis who were leading the Ratha and the "Jai"karas by over 40 Viveka Veeras following the Ratha with banners displaying the electric words of Shri Guruji Swami Vivekananda.
Throughout the procession, public exhibited their respect to Shri Guruji by performing Arati. This Nagara Sankeertana was concluded with Mangala Arati and distribution of Prasada to over 300 devottes gathered at Kote Anjaneya Temple. Divine Sparks and Veera yuva Shakti Koota,Chikmagalur succeeded in organizing this program with the blessings of Shri Guruji and Poojya Doctorji.

Divine Spark Hunsur conducted a satsanga at Divine Spark Branch office in Hunsur on 1st of Jan 2013. The program introduced Divine Park and its mission to the audience along with briefing on ‘Madhuvarsha’ concept. Madhuvarsha is an activity introduced by Divine Park wherein an individual or a family pledges to donate some amount of money on daily basis to a ‘Hundi’. The act of this service is to inculcate the attitude of charity in a human being. As per Sri Guruji, one should donate to the Hundi daily with a surrendered prayer to the Lord to dissolve the Karmic heap of stock stored in an individual. Nearly 50 people attended the program. Smt K S Sulochana Shrinivasmurthy and Smt Sarala ( J2 ) of Hunsur Divine Sparks introduced Divine Park and its activites to the gathering, highlighting the student programs conducted at various levels. Divine Spark Borivili conducted Samsaara Deepa program on 22nd December at Residence of Vanita Bhandari,Jai ganesh Soc, Goregaon East, Mumbai. 14th December: Divya Paadayathre from Bangalore to Divine Park begins
On 14th December, the first ever Divya Paadayathre to Divine Park was initiated by Divine Sparks Bangalore from Nelamangala. The Paadayathre is a process followed from the ancient past where devotees walk to a temple or a holy place while chanting the glory of the Lord. The team of 15 devotees have started the journey from Bangalore which is set to conclude at Divine Park by the end of last week of December. The devotees will be walking 15 kms in day time and 15 kms in the evenings. The team is set to visit the Divine Sparks on the way where Satsangas and mass prayers are scheduled to be held. The Paadayathre started from Nelamangala after a brief satsanga which was conducted at Divine Spark Nelamangala office. Divine Park Officer Sri Prakash Kumar Shetti spoke on the occasion explaining the importance of Paadayathre to the devotees. Divine Park Officer Sri Prashant later read out the divine message bestowed by Sri Guruji for this unique venture.

12th December : Sambhrama Deepa conducted by Divine Spark Borivilli
Divine Spark Borivilli conducted Sambhrama Deepa program at Mr Rajesh Poojari's residence on 12th of December. The program started with Sri Ram Raksha Stotra chanting and Bhajans lead by Divine Spark Volunteers. On Tuesday, 11th December, Divine Spark Perth organised a talk by Dr.Aralumallige Parthasarathy at Bayswater community centre, Perth. The program was anchored by Sri Shrikanth Ramdurg who introduced the guest speaker to the audience. Dr Aralumallige Parthasarathy delivered an inspiring talk in kannada, on the topic “The Great Values for Great Future”. Sri Aralumallige alluded to Swami Vivekananda’s famous Chicago speech and Divine Park’s objectives in line with Swami Vivekananda’s ideals. During the program, the audience was introduced to the book, “Race for Guruji’s grace” which contains the spiritual experiences of Poojya Doctorji. 10th December: Free Eye check-up camp organized at Mundaragi, Gadag
A free Eye check-up camp was organized by Divine Spark Gadag on 10th December at Sri Rukmini Pandurang Kalyan Mantap, Bhramanar Beedi Mundaragi, Gadag. The program was organized in collaboration with Dr.M M Joshi Eye Science Trust. The camp was inaugurated by Pujya Jagadguru Dr. Annadanishwar Mahashivyogi of Samsthan Math Mundaragi. Dr. M M Joshi - Director of Dr.M M Joshi Eye Science Trust, Dr B G Patil - District Ayush Officer, Sri V L Nadagoudru-Taluk Brahmanar Sangh, Sri Samiracharya Kanthhpalli from Vishwa Madhwa Maprishat and Sri R B Hulagi- President of Vithoba Trust Committee shared the dais. More than 200 eye patients were benefited by the camp and 46 patients are referred to the Hospital to undergo free cataract surgery.

5th December : Students excellence seminar organised at chikmagalur
Divine Spark Chikamagalur youth wing – Veera Yuva Shakti Sanghatane, organised a student’s excellence seminar - Vidyarthi Deepa, at Vidya Bharathi Vidya Samasthe chikmagalur on 5th December. The program started with lighting lamp and a welcome speech by headmistress of the school Smt Farida and later, Smt Sudha Bapat, Divine Park officer, addressed the enthusiastic group of 450 students briefing the aspects of personality development and gave several tips to excel in studies. She also explained the qualities of Ideal student and taught some simple breathing exercises which helps in improving concentration.

Divine Spark Kolar organised a seminar on women at Patanjali Yoga Shikshana trust, PC Layout, Kolar on 1st December. The program started with Sri Ramaraksha Storam chantings and bhajans lead by Divine Spark Volunteers. Later Divine Park Kolar president Sri Shreeshailan welcomed the audience by introducing them to Divine Park and its ideals. Divine Park M2 Officer Smt Shanti Ashwathayya spoke on the occasion and briefed on the qualities women should develop in order to lead a harmonious and ideal life of householder. She explained various Sadhana techniques as given by Sri Guruji to practise during daily routine. Dr.Shivanna D.G.O., SNR Hospital, Kolar was the Chief Guest of the program who addressed the audience by giving health tips to women. He explained remedies for various commonly found ailments in women and later interacted with the audience by answering their health related questions.

1st December: Divine Spark Singapore represented at Deepavali celebrations at Batam, Indonesia
On Saturday, the 1st December, Divine Park officer Sri Manjunatha Swamy and other office bearers of Divine Spark Singapore represented ‘Deepavali’ celebrations held in Batam, Indonesia. The program was jointly conducted by all the Hindu fraternity in Batam. During the program, Sri. Manjunatha Swamy delivered a speech in English on significance of celebrating festivals in general and Deepavali in specific. The speech was translated to local language of Batam, Indonesia. Over 500 people were gathered for the program. During his speech, Sri. Manjunatha Swamy emphasised on the Sri Guruji’s messages to society in transforming humanity to divinity.

25th November: ‘Sadhana day’ organised by Divine Spark Singapore
On Sunday, the 25th November, Divine Spark Singapore conducted maiden “Sadhana Day”. It day long program started at 10 am with chanting of Sri Rama Raksha Stotra and Sri Guruji Ashtothara. In the morning session all the devotees did Chakra Dhyana and practiced Acupressure techniques for controlling anger, jealous, lust and suspicion. Sri Pramod Gurupadevara Matha spoke on the importance of Dhanyathe, Shunyathe and Aapthathe to attract bumper divine Grace and also played audio clippings of the Sri Guruji’s Sandeshas on Dhanyathe and Aapthathe. In the afternoon session all the participants chanted Sri Vishnu Sahasranama, Bhajans, Auto Suggestions and concluded the program at 5 pm with Aarathi to Sri Guruji, Parama Guruji and Sharada Matha.

21st November: Free Eye camp organised by Divine Spark Mundaragi
Divine Spark Mundaragi organised its 11th free eye camp on 21st November in Haralpur. The camp was held in Haralapur primary school from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in association with Dr M M Joshi Eye Institute, Hubli. The program was inaugurated by Dr Uppala Gandhi, an Eye Specialist of Dr M M Joshi Eye Institute, Hubli who addressed the gathering with his talk on Eye health and Eye donation. Sitamma Jogin, Haralpura gram Panchayat president, K G Lakkundi & Yamuna V, Haralpura, gram Panchayat members, Dr Parvata gowda, Divine Park I2 Officer was also present at the occasion. Dr D H Kulkarni and Dr D A Desai along with Dr Uppala examined the patients during the camp. More than 85 people were offered free consultations and given treatment with free distribution of Eye Drops and tablets. 16 people with cataract problem were referred for free operation to the hospital.

18th November : Mass Kumkumarchane held in Mumbai
On the evening of 18th November a Mass Kumkumarchane was performed in the divine presence of Poojya Doctorji at Hotel Peninsula Grand, Andheri (East), Mumbai. Kumkumarchana also known as divine dialysis is a ritual performed to offer one’s karmic stuff to Divine Mother. In the process, Kumkum is offered at the feet of Divine mother with complete surrender and helplessness along with chanting of mantras. The program began with Poojya Doctorji leading the assembled devotees to chant Sri Ramaraksha Stotra followed by enchanting bhajans by the bhajan team. Poojya Doctorji explained the significance of the ritual and the way in which one should perform Kumkumarchane. Later, Poojya Doctorji started the Kumkum offerings with Sri Lalita Trishati chantings, leading the gathered devotees who were also provided with necessary items like Kumkum, flowers, photo of Goddess to perform Kumkumarchane. Earlier in the day due to Mumbai bandh, venue of the program had to be shifted and only 350 devotees could be accomodated at the new venue. The programme, went on very well against all odds including lack of transport in the city.

Sneha Koota – a get-together function was arranged by Divine Sparks Mangalore on 18th November at Sri Devi Temple Sabha Griha at Police Lane, Pandeshwar, and Mangalore. The volunteers and family of Divine Sparks of Mangalore, viz, East and West, participated in this full day event. The program started with chanting Sri Ramaraksha Stotra by the attendees and prayer by Smt Rathna Udupa, then the program was inaugurated by I2 Officer Sri Sandesh Rai, Sri Shashidhar - president of Divine Spark East and Sri Jagadish Shetty - Vice President of Mangalore West by lighting Lamp. Later Divine Park D2 officer Sri Rajesh Kumar Shetty gave a talk on topic “Family Life and Divine Park” and explained how one can lead an ideal householder’s life by following the ideals of Divine Park. Smt Prema Prabhakar also spoke on the occasion. The program continued with various games, songs, skits and Dumb Charades which entertained the gathered. In the afternoon, Smt Devaki hishore addressed the participants on the topic “Know your Divine Park” and Sri D K Bhat performed Mono acting on ‘Shoorpanaka Garvabhanga’. The program concluded by gathering feedback from the attendees and performed Mangalarathi. Nearly 150 people attended this fun filled day event. Smt Rathna Udupa anchored the morning session of the program and afternoon’s by Smt Devaki Kishore & Kum Kausalya.

As part of Viveka Deepa program, a book exhibition was arranged by Divine Spark London at Kannada Rajyotsava 2012 function organised by Kannadigaru UK at Hatchend high school, Harrow on 17th November. KannadigaruUK is an organisation to promote Kannada Culture and Language by organising the events in UK that venerates the richness and glories of Kannada Culture. The book exhibition was set up by Divine Spark volunteers who explained the objectives of Divine Park to the visitors and the displayed the spiritual wealth published in Divine Park Publications. Kannadigaru UK volunteers were extremely helpful and co-operative in this noble venture of Divine Spark of disseminating the lofty ideals of Vedanta.

17th November: Satsanga conducted by Divine Spark Mangalore - West
Divine Spark Mangalore west conducted a Satsanga at Smt Sulochana’s House at Bolpugudde, Mangalore on 17th November. The Satsanga was organised in gratitude to the Lord almighty for the grace showered upon their family. The program began by chanting Sri Ramaraksha Stotra by the attendees and singing enchanting bhajans lead by Divine Spark team. She then introduced ‘Madhu Varsha’ – a sacred practise of donating some amount in Hundi (Donation) box on daily basis as a token gratitude to Lord. On Wednesday, 14th November, Divine Spark Perth celebrated Deepavali Festival with a satsanga at Mrs Priyaranjini and Mr Prasanna Kumar’s home at Beechboro, Western Australia. During the satsanga Sri Shrikant Ramadurga briefed about the spiritual significance of Deepavali. On Saturday the 13th November, Divine Spark Singapore celebrated Deepavali at the residences of Smt Nanda Manjunatha Swamy and Ritu Virupaksha Bilgi. 11th November: Viveka Kirana Mandira Bantawala celebrates its fourth Anniversary
Divine Spark Bantawala celebrated ‘Chaturtha Vardhantyutsava’ – the fourth anniversary of Viveka Kirana Mandira at Vivekapura, Narikombu, Bantwala on 11th November. The program started at 11:00 AM in the morning with Sri Ramaraksha Stotram chanting and bhajans by the devotees inside Viveka Kirana temple. In the afternoon, Anna Prasadam was distributed to the devotees after performing mahamangalarathi to the Lord. Vidvan Sri Somashekhara Mayya entertained the audience with his Hindustani classical music performance. Later in the day, a brief report of the temple and its activities was presented before the audience.
Three eminent personalities from different fields were honoured on the occasion with special titles being conferred upon them as instructed by Sri Guruji – Swami Vivekananda. Vidvan Shri Somashekhara Mayya was honoured for his contribution to music with a special title of "Ganakesari", Shri Yohish K.S. Aladagadi as "Yakshanidhi" for his contribution to Yakshagana and Shri Janardhana acharya Sajipa as "Kalashri" for his contribution to arts. Shri Rajesh Kumar Shetti, Assistant Professor at Saint Joseph Engineering College Mangaluru, and a Divine Park officer, Shri Rajamani Ramakunja, Professor & Head of the Department Kannada, S.V.S.college Bantwala and Shri Rajagopal Acharya, an Astrologer Purohit Mogarnadu Bantwala were the guests of the program. More than 1500 people attended this grand function. One of the testimonies for the contribution of the temple and local divine spark was the presence of people in such huge numbers in the program.

Divine Spark London had set up a book exhibition as part of the Viveka Deepa program, at 'Deepotsava' function organised by Kannada Balaga UK at Onslow St Audrey’s School, Hatfield on 10th November. Kannada Balaga UK established in 1983 is a social network and a registered charity which aims to bring Kannadigas based in the UK together. 10th November: ‘Harikathe’ arranged by Divine Spark Mangalore - West
Divine Spark Mangalore arranged a ‘Harikathe’ program on 10th November at Smt Vasanthi’s house at Bolpugudde in Mangalore. The program was intended to introduce Divine Park and the spiritual concepts of Sri Guruji – Swami Vivekananda to the audience gathered. 'Beladingala Oota', a unique get-together program was arranged by Divine Spark Bangalore, North on 29th October at the branch office in Rajajinagar Bangalore. Vanishree Adiga spoke about the topic, 'The role of women in harmonious family and society'. Smt. Ratnamma Hanumatharayappa addressed the gathering and briefed about the expected ideal qualities of women. Smt. Renukamma Lecturer Divyajyoti Vidhya Kendra was the chief guest of the program. 26th October: Free Eye Camp organised by Divine Spark Mundaragi
A free eye camp was organised by Divine Spark Mundaragi in association with Dr M M Joshi Eye Institute, Hubli on 26th October at Korahalli primary School, Mundaragi, Gadag District. The camp drew the local people along with villagers from the neighbouring villages. In total, 150 people were treated and free eye drops and medicines were distributed during the camp. 30 patients were referred for free eye operation to Dr M M Joshi Eye Institute. Dr Kulkarni, lead the team of eye specialists from Dr M M Joshi Eye hospital at the camp. This being the 10th eye camp by Divine Spark in Mundargi has so far arranged for free eye operation for 239 patients with cataract. Divine Park I2 Officer, Sri Shranappa Bandi was present during the camp.

26th October: Yoga Sri Raksha workshop held in Singapore
Divine Spark Singapore arranged for a two days intensive yoga workshop – ‘Yoga Shri Raksha’ on 26th and 27th October at Arya Samaj (Opp. Mustafa) and Sri Lakshminarayana Mandir, Little India respectively. Divine Park trustee and Managing director of Svasthya health care unit Dr Vivek Udupa had been in Singapore for this cause. During this two days program over 70 patients consulted Dr. Viveka Udupa for various ailments like – Hypertension, Diabetes, Asthama, Neck & Back Pain, Headache, Obesity, Depression etc. For many patients it was follow-up consultation and provided very positive feedback about the program and improvements in their lifestyle after adopting the yoga in their daily routine. This is the 3rd consecutive Yoga Sri Raksha program held in Singapore in the span of 10 months.

Divine Spark Borivili conducted Santasa Deepa program on 20th october, at Mr Jagadish Shetty Sooda's office as a thanksgiving function to the Lord on the successful completion of 10 years of business. On Saturday, 20th October from 5:00pm to 8:30 pm, Divine Spark Perth conducted ‘Sambhrama Deepa’ program for the first time in Perth. Sambhrama Deepa is one amonst 15 Deepa Yojanes which is performed at a house prior to the commencement of the preparation for any program. The program highlights that for a successful conduct of a program, the Lord’s will is utmost essential along with the unified efforts of the family. The program illustrates the ways of doing Sadhana in the days approaching the program so that those who organise and those who were involved in the program experience happiness and bliss. 14th October: Service activity at Surya Home by Divine Spark Singapore
On Sunday the 14th Oct 2012, Divine Spark Singapore paid visit to Surya Home, a home for mentally challenged people in Singapore. The home also shelters and care for less fortunate individuals providing residential care to more than 600 physically challenged persons. Over 75 devotees assembled at Surya Home premises and performed mass prayers for wellbeing of all the residents of Surya Home, staff and management which was followed by bhajans along with the residents. The volunteers then served lunch to all the residents while some of them spent some time in mopping indoors and cleaning premises. The residents of the home and staff were very happy with the visit and have sent a gratitude letter in response to the warm and loving visit paid by Divine Spark Singapore.

13th October : "Anna Prana" Yojane arranged by Divine Spark Mangalore - West
Anna Prana Yojane, the unique service activity of distributing food to the needy is being continued by Divine Spark-Mangalore West every Month since last few years. The Donors along with their family members joined hands with the volunteers in the various sevas activities like vegetable cutting, packing, cleaning etc., in this programme, different types of items made up of rice are hygienically prepared by the volunteers in a very sacred manner by chanting Sri Rama Raksha Stotra and other mantras and by singing Bhajans. Nearly 125 packets of food are placed before the Lord and after Mangalarathi, 2-3 people carry the food bags and distribute to the beggars, orphans or to the needy.

Divine Spark Chennai conducted a special program to start off Navarathri Celebrations on 7th October at Karnataka Sangha School, T Nagar, Chennai. The program started off by lighting the lamp and Sri Ramaraksha Stotra chanting by Divine Spark Members. 7th October : 'Sevashree' draws more than 500 participants to Divine Park
More than 500 people participated in a one day retreat - "Sevashree" arranged in Kripakunja Auditorim by Divine park on Sunday 7th October. This day long retreat was meant to motivate the people on the path of 'seeva' - service and was carried out under the guidance of Poojya Doctorji. Distingwished guests spoke on many topics related to seeve and inspired the audience to make service as part of their daily life. Poojya Doctorji then spoke on the topic "Seeveya Sarthakya " (Fulfillment of service) and elaborated the various ways of perfoming the service and the attitude one has to wear while serving. He also highlighted that one must do atleast one hour of service along with minimum 24 mins of Sadhana every day. Later in the day Poojya Doctorji cleared the doubts of many people by conduting a question and answer session with the participants gathered. This happens to be the last one day retreat of Divine Park for this year.

Divine Spark, Margao & Panaji organised, one of the kannada's best motivational and patriotic program "JAGO BHARAT" on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti, 2nd october 2012. The program aimed to awaken the Rashtra prema and Rashtra bhakti was conducted by a spirited & youthful team lead by Sri Chakravarthi Sulibele a popular orator, columnist and a social worker. The programme started off by chanting Shree Ramaraksha Stotra, lead by Divine Spark members and then Jago bharat team took stage to perform. The program comprised of heart touching patriotic speeches with narration of incidents of our national heros coupled with patriotic songs, which infused a great love and respect for our motherland in the audience. Nearly 600 people from different parts of goa attended this grand function. Shri.Damodar (Damu) G.Naik, Ex.MLA of Fatorda Constituency, also a BJP spokesperson was the chief guest for the function.

The students of Shishu Sandeepa & Vidyarthi Deepa of Divine Spark, USA, Maryland, performed of the aspects they had learnt in the past three weeks of the training by Divine Spark Maryland volunteers. The students gave group performances in the form of skits, enactment of episodes from the Mahabharata, Jeopardy based on the Mahabharata characters, and bhajans. The students learning the languages - Kannada, Hindi and Samskritam, displayed their language skills through skits, songs and plays. 59 students participated in 11 groups in this 'Performance Day'.

Divine Spark Chennai organized a Health Checkup and awareness program on 30th September at Vittalapuram, Kalpakkam Chennai. The program started at around 11 in the morning with talk on 'women's health' in tamil by Dr Malathy, Gynecologist followed by individual consultations with patients by Dr K P Sahana, the General Physician. On Friday the 28th Sep 2012 from 7 pm to 10 pm, Ganesha festival celebration was held at Smt. PradynaSrinivas’ Residence. Mass prayers and bhajans on Lord Ganesha were sung with Devotion during the program. Smt. Pradnya shared mythological stories of Lord Ganesha. Mr. Gajanan presented the summary of Sri Guruji’s Ganesh Chaturthi Sandesha at Divine Park. The Sacred mantra “Gam Ganadhipathaye Namaha” was chanted for more than 10000 times filling the ambience with divinity.

26th September: Varun Deepa program organized by Divine Spark Solapur
Varun Deepa program has been organised by Divine Spark Solapur at Jatta, Sangali dist. starting from 26th September. The Deepa program will be conducted every evening for next 10 days till 6th October. Varuna Deepa is one amongst the 15 Deepa Yojanes bestowed by Sri Guruji which involves performing special prayers to the lord almighty to produce rainfall. On Saturday the 23rd Sep 2012 from 6.00 pm to 9 pm a satsanga was conducted in Singapore by Dwarakanath Malekar on the topic “The Glory of Temples”. Sanctity of temples was explained, background behind the advent of few very popular temples was shared. Scientific explanations were given on the rituals performed during the installation of deity in temples. Significance of usage of Pooja materials was explained scientifically. The ideal frame of mind while going to temples, correct method of praying and behaviour in temples and importance of towers, Garbhagudi and other structures in temples were explained in the satsanga.

23rd September : Ganesha Chaturthi celebrated in Divine Park
Ganesha Chaturthi Festival was celebrated in the holy ambience of Divine Park on 23rd October. The day began at 6:30 in the morning with pooja and archane to Lord Sri Ganesha by Poojya Doctorji in Divine Park temple. The next program began in Kripa Kunja Auditorium in the afternoon at 2:30 by chanting Ramaraksha Stotram and bhajans which was lead by Poojya Doctorji. The whole auditorium seemed to reverberate with divinity when the gathered devotees recited GaneshaSahasranamavali and GaneshaAshtottaraShatanamavali with the offering of flowers and garike-grass to the Lord. Poojya Doctorji then continued the program with enchating devotional bhajans on Lord Sri Ganesh. Sri Guruji Divine discourse session soon followed the event. Divine Spark Perth volunteers celebrated Sri Ganesh Chaturthi at Mr & Mrs.Chethan Khatokar and Divya’s residence on Saturday, 22nd September. The Program was hosted by Sri.Shrikant Ramadurg who explained the significance of Hindu festival as well as Significance of Lord Ganesh. The Devotees chanted mantra “Gam Ganadhi Pathaye Namaha” around 11000 times with offering flowers to the Lord Sri Ganesh. On Sunday 16th Sep from 6 pm to 9 pm a satsanga was conducted by Divine Spark Singapore on Swami Vivekananda and his ideals at Smt Sujatha and Sri Nandagopal’s residence. The satsanga was chaired by Smt Sujata and Sri Nandajopal where they explained the life of Swami Vivekananda from the childhood till he becomes world renowned by his Chicago speech. They emphasised with many stories of Swamiji’s life on how to lead a life with courage and determination. The continuation part of the program will be arranged in the month of November.

16th September : Vishwamangala Homa in Ranebennur
Divine Park’s Mass program, Vishwamangala Homa was conducted in Ranebennur on 16th September for the weal and welfare of the world. Vishwamangala Homa is a yagna conducted by Poojya Doctorji himself is unique in its own way where every participant is given chance to offer Aahuti to Homa kunda. More than 4000 people had gathered for this sacred ceremony held at Muncipal Stadium Ranebennur. The program began in the auspicious hour of Bhrami mohoortam, 4 AM on Sunday, 16th September with Sri Ramaraksha Stotra and bhajans lead by Poojya Doctorji. Six Aahutis were offered to deities starting from Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Ganesh, Shiva , Vasuki , Navadurge and Sri Sharadadevi. The atmosphere reverberated with the chanting of the divine mantras throughout the program which was lead by Poojya Doctorji and team constituted of Sri Nagraj Laxmeshwar, Sri Ashok Budihal, Sri Ramesh Bankapur, Sri Madhava Pai, Sri Vasudev Bevinkatti & Sri Navin Mahapurush. Dr Yarnal, the Arogya Asare officer of North Zone 2 was alongside Poojya Doctorji to offer Ghee to Homa kunda. This being a much awaited event of North Zone, the volunteers lead by the president of the program, Sri Eshwar G Havanur worked for the arrangement of the event from past 2 months. The program was very successful with Sri Guruji bestowing a special message that the divine effect of this Homa will prevail the surrounding 500 miles for 500 days.

DM (Endocrinology) working in M S Ramayya Hospital Mathikere and Dr Lokesh (Physician) Bowring Hospital Shivajinagar Bangalore, examined more than 200 people. 9th September : Shishu Sandeepa & Vidyarthi Deepa series commenced by Divine Spark USA (Maryland)
Divine Spark, USA (Maryland) commenced it's Shishu Sandeepa & Vidyarthi Deepa series of programs on September 9th, 2012, for the academic year Sept 2012 - Aug 2013. A dedicated group of around 20 resource persons have embarked on this project in Maryland, for the seventh year. Besides learning bhajans, shlokas and stories from Mahabharata, religious discipline, values and significance of the various forms of God are being explained in these sessions to children. 68 students aged 4 to 17 years have registered for this weekly program.
